I know we are still a long time from the finished game. However, we are quickly approaching the potential summer backer test kit. I'm so excited to dig in and noodle with what's IS available. I keep having to remind myself to be patient because I'm confident with time they will nail the design and deliver an incredibly fun game.

I see the surveys have been sent but I backed at BackerKit access add-on tier. However, no add-ons appeared. Is this an error? Was this part of a smoke test? Please help.

I watched a YouTube review of the MCDM Playtest by Treant's Monk Temple (link at the bottom) and he shared that the playtest has gone out to all backers of the Kickstarter. I have looked through all of my emails and everywhere I can find here on Backerkit, but I cannot find it. I watched a review a few days ago for the MCDM play test. There was some really good discourse from the guys running the stream about some things that they didn’t fell ran as smoothly as they had hoped (initiative being a competitive roll rather than a high/low roll on one die, feeling that some of the rules are nebulous, etc). What blew my mind were the two most common complaints in the chat: the fact that the system doesn’t have a name yet, and that the GM is called a director. Two things that imo have no bearing on whether a system is good or not. I ended up taking the whole thing with a grain of salt telling myself that ‘if that’s all they have to complain about, then this system is going to knock everyone’s socks off.’

I think the MCDM RPG should have an optional rule for GM's to use that encourages players to kick the door in to the big bad's lair rather than relying too much on stealth. Sneaking sequences can be cool but I've noticed playing D&D players tend to over rely upon it and I think a mechanism that encourage players to be door kickers over constantly sneaking would be neat. Just my 2 cents.
