These books are absolutely fantastic products. As a DM/ Dad, I have done exactly what you described, thrown something from in here at my players with little time to prep, and we had a blast. Very well thought out, interesting, and varied mechanics compared to the "official" 5e content. Thanks for putting these together and I look forward to more stuff from MCDM!
