Firstly, I reattached the recent poll in case it's of interest and you missed the recent update. I still haven't sent out my full email about this summer pin campaign yet because I'm still working on a banner and touching up the designs.
Anyway, this update is partly to serve as a reminder that the charge date for everyone is April 26th, unless you are someone who still hasn't filled out their survey yet but choose to be charged upon submission before that date. The preorder septum rings were just paid for to begin production last week, so again - those will be charged for.
Here's an update on the paws!
Shown are Pink and White, Donut's paw (return backer freebie), Dilute Tuxedo, Tortoiseshell, Dilute Tortoiseshell, Orange, Honeydew, and Strawberry. None have epoxy or printing yet, and none of them except Pink and White have enamel in them yet except for the glittery paw pads.
Thankfully this is moving pretty quickly as I've approved these samples already, and the 5 that were sampled before were already approved! That leaves just 7 colorways that I haven't seen WIPs of yet/are unapproved.
My previous 2 pin campaigns on here will have updates this week as well (the final one for Jellinoms!).
Hey all, here's where things are at right now (in no particular order):
I'm on the tail end of a sinus infection that my dr actually caught well before I even suspected one, but that I wasnt able to take meds for for 4 additional days because CVS sucks - so I am dealing with a ton of head pain and not getting much done physically. HOWEVER. I have been pretty busy doing manu communications, file formatting, design work etc as I can.
I JUST realized I somehow never added a picture of the UFO freebie sticker to the listing (and thankfully none of you ordered it semi-blind). Here is how they turned out... I was still unsure if I wanted to remake. I wanted them full bleed and the whole beam glittery. However, since I was ghosted by the company, it was designed to be a freebie, and no one has pledged to pay for it before the photo being added, I will keep it like this.
So far, what it's looking like is the date I'll charge everyone who asked to be charged later is April 26th. I'll send out a 48hr notice on April 24th asking you to make sure your survey details are final. 10 people still have not answered their surveys.
There are still a few errored pledges but half of those have filled out the survey - those who don't intend to fix the payment through the survey, please contact me to let me know so I can remove you as a backer, that way I won't be bugging you with any reminder emails.
As a fun fact, this is the current total for the cross-collab pin claims: 24 strawberry, 31 honeydew, and 14 banana!
As another fun fact, current spin count is 61 for Machine 1 and 45 for Machine 2!
Remake moths and some fish are in production as well as the paws, and their proofs are all approved (two different manufacturers). The catmoths being made for last campaign are with the paw manu and their mold is being remade, but they should be done soonish.

Each one will have a complementary color for the heart-shaped clutch.
My jewelry manufacturing partner has agreed to let me pay 50% upfront for the septums and 50% upon completion, so I will be sending her that first 50% next week. I really need the unclaimed ones for Colossalcon, and Sakura and Thorns have had preorders for months due to the FUBAR of the original funding and I am impatient in their stead. This means I WILL be charging everyone who has pledged for a preorder, but I will wait to do so until everyone else is charged April 26th.
All orders going to Canada are highest priority right now for everything I have pending... the reason for this may be obvious to some but if you are American and don't know how badly things are going, please consider reading up on it. I'm sorry, my northern neighbors. Most of us didn't want any of this.
More Sugar Paws decals are being ordered for liquid shakers in various shapes. I'm trying to design something else cat-related for the ramune-style liquid shakers I have, too.

All moth spins have been claimed - that may fluctuate with survey edits.
I am considering also doing glitter laminate sour gummy paws stickers individually, of some colorways in a larger size (3" per paw) - now that I know glitter laminate is actually possible to receive without problems...
I've attached a poll...long story short, I was invited to something, and paws were actually NOT my final pin campaign. I never intended to lie to anyone to hype this up, especially since it's not changing that my shop is closing at the end of this year, but this is how things shook out. The one related to this poll will be my last pin-focused campaign; I may design pins for the campaign related to my video game (but for that they will obviously not be the main focus).
These are sneak peeks and not the full designs, though you already know my TV head catgirl and may recognize others from chibi version sticker designs. This does not include the design for the girl who will be the cross-collab freebie, my Spider Witch OC. 💜
Monster Girl Riot will be a gacha w/individual choice options during campaign as well, but this time they are full-sized pins each with their own mold. It will be a part of a group event. 🖤 I'll release a newsletter about this later this month when I have a proper teaser page, but you can still follow along via this link here!

Hi everyone! I've sent out surveys, and pins are already in production!
There is 1 new question you'll see, asking if you want to be charged within 24hrs of submitting the survey or if you want to be batch-charged with everyone else late April. Many creators have decided to add this question to their surveys now for various reasons. I can't speak for anyone else, but my own motivator for doing so is because I myself sometimes am completely blindsided by charges I previously knew were coming (thanks ADHD) unless I pay when it's actively on my mind, and I don't want to stress anyone out who has the same issue.
If you are in the US and see a pending charge of $14 for shipping and have not put in your address yet - do not panic, submit your address and it will adjust. So far, for every project I have crowdfunded directly on BK, it occasionally assumes people are abroad until they put in their address, and it sets the shipping to $14. I don't know why this is and there is nothing I can do about it. It fixes itself once the address is set.
Please also note again that while you, as backers, have access to a la carté options for pins via survey - the preorder store does not. These quantities are also still limited.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY IF YOU GOT OR WANTED TO ADD ON GACHA SPINS:
There have been some changes made to availability! Since I am closing at the end of this year, I will need to make the "freebie" pins available in gacha spins (random luck) at-cost (they are no longer free to anyone else! So you still got a deal if you qualified!). Otherwise, it will be very difficult for me to sell off the remaining stock (there are quantity minimums, I couldn't just order what people claimed). This changes the Machine 1 and Machine 2 lineups a bit now, because in total that's 20 pins! 🫣
In the interest of themeing them better, here are the available selections that you now have for pins (and this is also reflected in the images as you check out!!)

...while Donut's Paw (and I guess also orange) are a bit odd for the 2nd machine's more fun/unrealistic colorways, that was what I felt worked best for an even split.
For people who got multiple spins, EACH spin will give you the option to choose the machine you want to pick from. Ex: 3 spins, you choose Machine 1 for the first 2 then choose Machine 2 for the last one.
Also - pill and moth spins have been added! Limits are still enforced for all other collection spins (fish, jellinom, pills, moths). Please clear me out of the pills if you'd like one and don't mind them being random (the grab bags are available too still with only 3 left!). I have around 20 spins left in the pill machine and want to put the first half of jellinoms in it to take their place! They of course will not be reordered once I'm out - all my gacha collections are LE to begin with but again - I will be closing. I'm going to have...so many gacha machines at in-person events this year...I have no idea why I did this to myself. Look forward to a very different table display this year!
PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE IN THE EU:
The new GPSR guidelines that went into effect in December seem to be very difficult to actually FIND, it took me a long time to just sift through things talking about it and threatening language about who has to comply. However, what seems to be the bottom line is: anything I was already selling before then is excluded, but these paw pins are NOT. Apparently there are even things related to cigarettes considered "safe" enough but pins are not. I would have to perform and then provide documentation of safety checks via lab and in-depth material sourcing. Here is a pretty detailed breakdown of the GPSR guidelines, please have a look if you are within the EU or Northern Ireland.
Frankly, these guidelines are more insane than the previous VAT ones implemented after Brexit and I feel very, very sorry for you to have to deal with this and for not having caught this earlier. I'm assuming anything I have to send out pending from my moth campaign, before this expanded, that there is some level of risk I will be contacted by some govt entity requiring proof it was available for sale before then, or it being thrown out altogether, and even that makes me uncomfortable. I understand the sentiment and why this was implemented, but it is incredibly extreme.
What this means:
• I have now excluded EU countries from surveys, and unfortunately the roundabout way I had to do that was by setting shipping costs very high. • Anyone who contacts me about this (assuming you don't try to check out with $999 shipping, because I then won't see your location) will be redirected to this info: • Please pick a reputable proxy service or a friend within the US who can receive your pledge for you, and legally mark your package as a "gift". Some reputable proxy services are Planet Express, Global Shopaholic, My US, Ship7, Shippingclear. • I cannot afford to fully refund for this, I am not offering refunds. • Please provide me some sort of proof of address regarding you being in the EU (which you would have done before, anyway - this is to ensure no one based in the US is taking advantage), and I will discuss with you an alternative cost so that this will be less of a headache. Current thought is that I can offer a credit to you that covers the US shipping entirely, so you will only have to pay for their shipping to you. I'd offer to give you my discounted rate via my shipping partner, via emailing a label to you, but I think it might be flagged as suspicious even marked as a gift from your friend's address... since it would still be a prepaid label and first go to a fulfillment center. • This seems to be the best apology I can offer and I hope this is alright. Additionally: the UFO freebie stickers were made wrong compared to the order instructions. The company is ghosting me, has been for weeks. I've used Stickerapp for 8 years off and on with this only being the 4th issue I've had in this timeframe, so this is really bizarre and frustrating. I may have to pay for them out of pocket to get remade somewhere else which is not at all cheap for 4" glitter stickers.
I'll keep you updated on what I ultimately decide to do, thankfully there is no immediate rush on them!
