I spoke with my manufacturer, and I'm able to lower qty for most designs. Ghoul I have to order even more than originally planned, she's super popular and so many of her were snatched up at EB pricing!
Necromancer can unlock by herself at $5,000 if I flip her and Gorgon. Gorgon will apply to all 5+ pin pledges if we reach $5,700. TV Cat is still planned to be available to pledge for at that point and fully unlocks at $6,350 ($250 earlier than before).Mummy would become available then and fully unlock at $6,850, and Dullahan would unlock at $7,300.
However, even though we're not at TV Cat, I'll still take this opportunity to reveal the final designs of the other 2 girls I was working on before, in hopes we can fund them through surveys/the preorder store:
would be 45mm tall; NONE of the accent colors are final but it will indeed be mostly white. The wings need more details, hair is likely to have shadows but not highlights, and I'm needing to rework the thorn halo... but most of the lines/compositions are final, just a bit messy.
They do still require edits (Mermaid is almost fully cleaned up but Angel needs a lot of work, probably another 2+ hours) and the final-final graphics in survey/preorder store will reflect that. Mermaid's skin (it's actually "sand"!) and aquatic body would all be glittery. Everything else would just be normal hard enamel, and her metal would be a deep blue color. The gradient printing under the clear enamel would have all the fish/shadows, while the highlights on the "water" would be screenprinted. Still not sure how I feel about the wobbly irises though. My inspiration was the original "she turned into seafoam" end of The Little Mermaid. Mine can just shapeshift to and from being water, I guess, except for the tentacles? Maybe she's a magical cephalopod or something? I'm really not sure. An enigma lol.
Angel is comparatively really simple. I was thinking "Abomination" would also be an accurate name but scrapped it.
What do you think of them? Angel came to me randomly at night like most of them, but Mermaid took a lot of contemplation. Ultimately, the answer I went with hit me randomly at around 3am too lol, but she was one I'd been trying to turn into a bust design for months but couldn't figure it out (vs most of these girls being sudden inspo from the ground up that I wound up liking).
