The Darkest Art
$27677 purchasedLIMIT ONE PER BACKER AT THIS PRICE. SEE THE "ADDITIONAL COPY OF THE DARKEST ART" TO PURCHASE MORE. Invisible Sun is illustrated by hundreds of truly remarkable artworks (even by the standards of, if we may say so ourselves, a publisher renowned for the high quality of our art). So much so that the Black Cube contains an art book showcasing some of its best pieces. We also produced a limited-run art book as part of the first reprint campaign, featuring art from the supplements that were, at that time, in development. Both of these were beautiful but fairly modest softcover books. The Darkest Art does this artwork better justice. A hefty hardcover of the highest quality, it's suitable for a place of honor on your coffee table (where it will undoubtably draw the interest of every eye that falls upon it). But it has another use: it's a great way to share images with your players at the game table, or to help them drink in the unique mood of Invisible Sun as they create their characters, their houses, their neighborhoods, and their Desideratum—or simply dream of adventures to come in the Actuality. Elegantly designed and finely appointed (its final form is not yet discerned, but it will be lavished with deluxe features, including perhaps foil stamping, an elegant dust jacket, interesting edge treatments, or other becoming decorata), it is of course be printed on materials of the highest quality. And it might contain a few secrets, or features not readily visible to the undiscerning eye. In addition to art from Invisible Sun, it also showcases related pieces created for The Darkest House (a separate product, but one birthed from Monte’s personal Invisible Sun campaign)—with maybe a few of the more surreal images from our other games as well. In short, The Darkest Art celebrates the success of this campaign, and of Invisible Sun, with all due splendor!Edit -

Vislae Kit
$43280 purchasedThe Black Cube contains everything a full gaming group needs to play a complete Invisible Sun narrative, including all the materials for the players as well as GM. But sometimes the players want their own stuff. And although the Black Cube contains multiple character tomes, grimoires, and other consumable components, GMs and players alike may want additional copies. The Vislae Kit is a player companion to the Invisible Sun game, containing all the stuff a single player may want. The custom Invisible Sun dice, a Sooth Deck, a grimoire pad, character tomes for each order, tokens, and more come in a very cool box that is practically a collector’s item in its own right. It’s a great buy for players who want their own game materials, or groups that want to keep their Black Cube in pristine condition. This add-on gives you a single Vislae Kit. There's also an option for a bundle of five (enough for the entire party) at a nice discount.Edit -

Gift-giving Card
$361 purchasedThe Invisible Sun Black Cube makes a desirable gift for any serious gamer—and gift-giving season is almost upon us! The reprint of the Black Cube, however, will not be available in time for the holidays. This unique and striking card, printed on hefty paper with a wax seal, makes a lovely proxy gift—an item to place under the tree or beside the birthday cake that lets the recipient know that the gift of the Actuality is on its way. (Gift-giving tip: We do not collect shipping information for campaign rewards until the items are available to ship. That means, if you like, that you can have the Black Cube shipped directly to your gift recipient—even if other rewards go to your address.)Edit -
Guiding Hand
$13162 purchasedInvisible Sun narratives, like the characters that inhabit them, tend to be complex, multi-layered, and a bit enigmatic. But fortunately they’re not hard to manage, thanks to The Guiding Hand, the Invisible Sun GM’s notebook. It gives you a great place to record character information, including desideratum, character arcs, background, house and neighborhood details, and so on. It also helps you plan upcoming sessions and keep important notes on events as they occur. And it’s loaded with prompts and ideas to roll into your narrative or inspire you when events take an unexpected turn. It’s the essential GM’s tool for running great Invisible Sun narratives—easily! The Guiding Hand is included in Invisible Sun, but this extra copy, identical to the one in the Black Cube, gives you more space for especially long narratives, or if you’re starting a second narrative.Edit -
Extra Prop Set
$23115 purchasedPart of what makes Invisible Sun so remarkable (in addition to the truly unique setting and the magical rules system) is the game’s tactile nature. The Black Cube contains, among the many hundreds of components, a large, thick envelope stuffed with props and handouts—little bits of the Actuality to share at your game table. Menus, business cards, signs, handbills, posters, train and theatre tickets, letterhead, brochures, postcards . . . the list goes on. Few things draw players into a game world, and make their eyes light up at the game table, like well-crafted props. But what if you want to preserve these beautiful components of the Black Cube? Or run a second narrative after you've already used or given away your props in an earlier campaign? This add-on is an extra copy of the props envelope from the Black Cube, giving you an additional set of these intriguing, beautiful, and immersive items.Edit -
Prop Set 2
$23511 purchasedBring the Actuality to life here in shadow with even more props! Prop Set 2 gives you well over two dozen additional, all-new props for your Invisible Sun narrative—more, in fact, than the substantial number included in the Black Cube. Invitations, tickets, playbills, old letters, pages torn from mysterious books—like everything Invisible Sun, these items are filled with hints, clues, hooks, and hidden truths. They bring the Actuality to life here in Shadow, and are a great aid to any Invisible Sun narrative!Edit -
Iconic Figure Set
$36153 purchasedLord Vryx is an Iconoclastic Stormheart of the Order of Goetica Who Serves as a Host, and is possessed by a bevy of spirits of all sorts who (usually) help him in his endeavors. Omar Vanderal is an Established Stoneheart of the Order of Vance Who Walks with Strange Steps. This dapper fellow doesn’t let the surreality of the Actuality get to him, no matter how weird it gets. Lauk, the Thief of Ideas, is a Connected Flameheart Apostate Who Can’t Be Touched. A well-known thief, Lauk steals anything that can’t be nailed down—ideas, concepts, spells, and even emotions. Like his targets, his physical form is often intangible. Palome is a Beloved Stoneheart of the Order of Weavers Who Speaks to the Noösphere. She’s the picture of both knowledge and grace, and wields magic like an artform. The Red Shaper is an Itinerant Waveheart of the Order of Makers Who Evokes the Change. She is contradiction walking on eight legs—a maker who reveres change and destruction. These are the five iconic vislae included in the Invisible Sun Black Cube as pregenerated characters. This add-on brings them here into Shadow as 54mm miniatures. These beautiful, surreal characters are an intriguing visualization of Invisible Sun vislae, and a striking addition to your game table or display case. The figures are made of plastic and unpainted. Some assembly is required.Edit -
Testament of Suns
$2371 purchasedVislae draw their magical power from the Invisible Sun. Indeed, the very word vislae is derived from Visla, the guardian of the Invisible Sun. A vislae’s very nature is inexorably linked to this connection, and one of the ways that all vislae (excepting Apostates, not surprisingly) reflect this connection is by carrying a Testament of Suns—a talisman in the shape of a stylized hand with six fingers. Because nothing can ever mean just one thing, however, the Testament also describes a vislae’s unique individual nature. Each of the fingers represents a different aspect of the character: order, heart, forte, soul, foundation, and arc. Or, in the secret language of the vislae, tor, da, tu, ka, la, and ver. And, of course, that’s not all. In the Invisible Sun game, the Testament of Suns elevates the Sooth card that is placed on the Invisible Sun, holding that card above the others and keeping it in play even as new Sooth cards are dealt. This add-on is an extra Testament of Suns, identical to the one that's included in the Black Cube. Standing over 9 inches (23 cm) tall and beautifully sculpted with a bronze-gold finish, it makes a striking and unusual decor item, a tactile prop representing the Testament of Suns your vislae character carries, or a handy extra for your game.Edit
