Project Update: Alice and FishTales Vol 2 SHIPPED!
I've been so busy with Thanksgiving and family trips, I'm a couple weeks behind on this update... but both campaigns for Alice: Lost in Wonderland and FishTales Volume 2 are all shipped out! other than the unavoidable couple backers that still haven't filled out surveys those campaigns are finished, and they went faster and smoother than ever before. Now it's time to start ramping up for next year and...
The wait is almost over! What happened after the attack on station 46? Will Virgil be okay? Will cpl Waters survive?! You will get answers to all these questions and find new depths to the mystery afoot when you go to GOMRFISH.COM and follow the prelaunch page so you don't miss out on the final issue of the "First Shift" story arch.
Project Update: Alice books are all in!
ALL THE ALICE BOOKS ARE NOW IN!
I know I don't send as many updates as some... but personally, I hate being spammed with constant project updates that have nothing new to share. I wanted to wait until there was real news, and having all the books in house and , all of the variant covers now in, along with the T-shirts, acrylic Standees, etc... seemed like a good time for an update!
I have had my hands full with a con, family trips, senior year events for our son and such, but I am hard at work printing the mini comics and posters now, and will have the shirts pressed and ready to ship soon, and will be spending my evenings signing hundreds of copies of Alice in thanks to all of you for supporting my passion project!
Hopefully all the rewards will be shipped out by the end of next week. ("Lord willing and the creek don't rise." -Granny Lee) Thank you all so much for your support on this project that has been burning a hole in my heart for 30 years dying to get out into the world, it really does mean everything to me!
I apologize for the slight delay figuring out the back end of backerkit... it is not quite as straightforward as Kickstarter... lots of amazing new options also leave lots of opportunities to confuse me. LOL
If you are a fan of my other series Greenzone: Life In The Blocks, the lone awaited issue 4 will be shipping out to my Patreon subscribers in time for Christmas with a Patreon Exclusive cover Months before anyone else can get it all for the low price of just $10! Or subscribe for just $5 per month and get a new digital comic each month as well as access to the 15 back issues instantly! The full 4 issue Greenzone trade plus several bonus shorts and behind the scenes sketches, etc... will go live next February on Kickstarter. you can read the digital first issue of Greenzone by signing up for the FREE monthly School of Fish newlsetter, chocked full of comic creating tips, tricks, How-to videos, and FREE monthly brushes and assets for Clip Studio Paint by clicking HERE.
The digital rewards were successfully delivered by Backerkit today, and I already read them all. Alice was indeed exciting and exhibited so much visual exuberance. I was interested to see what you did with Greenzone, since I'd seen #1 as a bonus from some past KS campaign. The setting is a social fable less interesting to a non-American like me, but the characters are fascinating, and I would like to read more about them. Disappointingly, the Sourcebook has ridiculously low resolution, making hard to read, especially the handwritten blue writing. Would it be possible to get a larger version?
Project Update: Last day for FishTales Vol 2!
It's the LAST day to jump on board for FishTales Volume 2, the campaign ends tonight, Friday Oct 4th at 10PM EST!
ALICE UPDATE:
The books should be in soon, and I am locking down the orders so I can get a final count for the last few add-ons, so if you're one of the few that still haven't filled out your survey, please get fill it out ASAP so I can be sure to get all the add-ons you need!
I'm so excited to get these books into your hands... it's been a lifetime getting to this point. It's wild to finally be here. THANK YOU ALL for helping make this happen.
Project Update: The Alice and Big Tin acrylic standees are in!
The Books are on their way to me, and I'm told they should be here in a couple more weeks... but while we wait, the AMAZING acrylic standees of Alice and Big Tin just got in and they are SO COOL!
Big Tin stands 6' tall, and Alice comes in at just over 5" so she's the right size proportionally to him. They are so cool it's hard to put them down and get work done. There is still time to add them on when you fill out your surveys if you want to get a pair!
I will be locking the surveys soon so I can have final numbers for T-shirt blanks I need to order, so if your one of the few that haven't filled out your survey yet, please get to it ASAP so I can ship out all the rewards as soon as the books get in!
