While I love the landscape format you chose to start with I'm afraid you really missed the mark. The point of the landscape was to make it easier to use at the table - but you didn't do make sure two page spreads were used for every sub-section!! New sub-sections just begin whenever the previous section ends. For example the Elf doesn't start at the top of a page. It just starts where the Dwarf ends. Which means you can't just scan to top of each page to find what you're looking for but have to do full page scans. In addition you didn't do dark sub-section headings so they're easy to scan. With these mistakes the regular portrait book is then more usable as it contains more information per page - so less pages to scan to find what you want. I know OSRIC has never been known for focusing on layout, but you could have done better. That being said, I love the rules and will be using them as soon as I can.
