Nat19 is a company dedicated to producing new TTRPG content based in its exclusive JRPG-inspired setting, Somnus Domina! We are a collection of writers, performers, professional voice actors, and improvisors who run live games in our setting with high production values and try to share a love of storytelling and anime/JRPG-inspired content!
Somnus Domina is a world that fuses both mecha and fantasy elements, which can house traditional adventures just as easily as space-faring or super robot ones! Before we get into everything else, we wanted to put up front that NO AI is used at any stage in the creation of this product or campaign. Nat19 only supports human artists.

On previous projects, we have had issues with changing US tariff policies. For this project, regardless of where anything is manufactured, we will offset all tariffs for fulfillment and account for them during production.

This splash book - the second of four for the year - is a 150-page update to an older book of ours, called Luxus' Guide to Kits'adria. It deals with content related to Luxus, a goddess in the setting of Somnus Domina, a foxlike woman with influence over fire, assassination, honorable crime, and trickery. This book contains:

The secondary product offered through this campaign is our Q1 book from 2026, the Paraprismatic Tempest! This book was completed earlier this year, before we switched our sales model to conclude the repeating BackerKit campaigns like this one, so it's being offered here. This book is a 90-page splash book that explores the Elemental Planes of Somnus Domina, including their cultures, beasts, gods, and the effects they have on those not meant to set foot within them. Our 600+ page setting guide, Lyre’s Guide to Retia, serves as the foundation for much of the content we’ve created. It contains new classes, dozens of subclasses, hundreds of spells, feats, and over 30 new races. The PDF is included with all tiers on this project, so you will get it for free alongside everything else!
Starting in 2025, Nat19 has produced a "splash book" every three months, which have been becoming more and more ambitious in scale. These splash books each pick a theme to focus on (usually, a god or set of gods from Somnus Domina, and their domina, realms, influences), then provide monsters, classes, subclasses, races and subraces, and much more that fit into that theme, as well as offer new options to play within them. These books have proven to be best-selling titles on DTRPG, often holding the #1 spot on the site for weeks at a time.
We plan to continue releasing these splash books every 3 months and run a BackerKit campaign like this one around each release to get physical copies! Returning customers can continue to build on the wealth of content provided for our setting, which can also be used at any table they wish!
5.19th Edition (or just 19th Edition) is a subsystem used in Nat19’s games and has received great reception from other players and tables since its release! Alongside many new base class features and a focus on modular character building, it focuses on new rules that keep players involved at every step of play (even while dying), new movement types and terrains, tools for both players and GMs to better challenge and test each other, and new conditions and mechanics. Most importantly, it includes the Legacy Trait systems for races, allowing highly customizable character creation!

The 19th Edition ruleset is entirely compatible with 5th Edition games, and its rules/NPCs/systems can be used discreetly and individually without fully adopting the entire system. It is not designed with the 2024 ruleset in mind; however, compatibility with it is at the discretion of the GM and their table.

The Soul of Trickery and Paraprismatic Tempest are both complete already! Once the campaign is complete and funds are collected, we'll send out Digital Files and proceed to physical fulfillment! Some stretch goals may have to be developed afterward.
Below a certain sales threshold, books will be printed in the US through our PoD services and shipped from there by us. However, if we pass the 10k mark in sales, we will switch our production partner to a production house that can print much higher quality books, and they'll handle shipping and delivery on our behalf!
We expect to ship within 2 months of the project receiving its funds, unless delays are caused by our printing partners.
