Two quick updates: pins are in, so we're about to start verifying, counting, and prepping to ship. We still have five people whose cards have failed for shipping charges. Please, please update your cards, because if we don't have your shipping/add-on costs by the time we finish shipping, your funds will be considered a donation and you will receive no rewards. We try to give everybody as much time as possible, but we need to be able to close out projects when they're done & in the past have had people contact us 2+ years later when all the pins are gone and expect us to be able to fulfill their backer rewards. We send a LOT of emails and write out our processes and expectations up front, so you can't say you weren't kept in the loop.
A second update: a package of the black FAFO stickers went missing, and we had to order stickers from a different company in order to have them arrive within a reasonable timeframe. This company apparently measures their stickers quite differently, because this pack of FAFO stickers is quite a bit bigger than the ones we got from our usual company. If you happen to be one of the people who gets a bigger black FAFO sticker, well, bank error in your favor. :P
We hope to start shipping out within the week, but it'll depend on how long it takes me to sort and verify the pins. I'll shoot out another email when we start.
As a reminder: you will get a notification that your package has been sent when we print out mailing labels. That is almost certainly not going to be the day that your package actually goes into the mail! We print out batches of labels, prepare and verify packages, and then the packages are dropped off; it can take another 2 days after dropoff before USPS will show movement on the tracker. The gap between when we print your mailing label (and thus you get that email) and when you see movement on the USPS tracker can be up to 5 business days!
Our goal is to have everything shipped by mid-July so that we can bring any leftover pins to Pride Northwest with us, so if you wanted to snag more, you should be able to come find our stall, right inside the Harvey Milk entrance, and pick up (among other things) pins or resin art, or get a t-shirt pressed with one of our new designs. :)

Just a quick update to say there's not really any updates for those receiving pins. The pins are currently in production & we'll send a notification when we get them and start sorting, packing, etc.
For those of you who only got stickers, we hope to start sending out those backer rewards soon! We received most of the stickers, there's one sticker that needs to be reprinted because it came out ... not to our expectations... and we are planning on trying to print that one here in our studio rather than waiting for (and paying for) an order which would take another month or two. I've already started creating the 'all the stickers' packs for those of you who purchased those, and once we get or print the replacement stickers, I'll finish those and fire them off to you!
We also received the banners, and are going to have a little party of sitting down to attach the hanging strings to them. Fun times!

P.S. There are about half a dozen of you who still have failed charges. Please fix your cards -- you can't get your rewards if you don't pay your shipping, and as per our posted conditions, if you don't pay your shipping by 45 days after the project ends, it's considered a donation. We'll waive that as long as it's paid by the time we do shipping. (In the past we've had people come to us like 2 years after a project and expect us to have the pins and to honor a pledge where they didn't pay/pay shipping, and that's just not realistic. Please be cool!)
We have over 90% of backers responding, which means it's time to put together the orders and get them in production. Pre-Orders & Add-Ons will close on March 29th so I can fully take stock of all necessary items and make sure we have ordered everything we need, plus a couple extra in case something gets damaged in transit, etc.
We are going to be joining in on Pride Parade, a collaboration of pin makers, with our new Queerphemisms pins. That launches in May, so make sure you watch your email for an invite. We'll have fun stuff for Early & Returning Backers. :] This collection is one I had planned for a couple of years ago that got put on hold for a bunch of reasons and I'm super excited to see it finally move forward!

We are currently at 88% of surveys completed - y'all got on that really quickly, which is awesome. The survey period will close on the 29th, but if we can get to 90% before then, we'll be close enough to done that I'll be able to start placing orders & the excess we order should cover any stragglers.
Sticker-only backer orders will start shipping before those with pins, simply because sticker production has a much faster turnaround than pins. So if you backed just for stickers, we'll try to start shipping those within the next few weeks. (I've gotta order some of the designs we added during the campaign yet, but our sticker folx are fast.)
