Skeevy lawyers try to take control of the advocate gangs aboard Prospero's Dream in this zine for Mothership RPG.
It's all out war, how are you going to put your thumb on justice's scale?
With Extrajudicial Warfare, diveinto a gang war ready to explode. Explore four interwoven stories in your control and immerse yourself in a living world, pulsing around you.
For years, daring and dedicated gangs aboard Prospero’s Dream have been reaping the rewards of bloodsport. No one can point to how it started, but their thirst for glory in the area began spilling into the winding streets and dive bars. Now, they’ve taken it a step further, and the station is in the middle of an all out war. Recently, new faces have shown up, ready to take a shot at controlling the chaos themselves.
This zine ropes you into four schemes put in motion by interstellar stooges of B.L.Orbos LLC, a truly criminal law firm - out for blood, not justice. Players can fight for or against the LLC, turning the tide of the gang war and leading their preferred faction to victory in the Dream’s Court.
The Story
Ensuring a breakneck pace, all four of the LLCs schemes unfold in the zine over time. Rather than moving through a set path, Warden and players are at the centre of an ever-shifting balance of power. As the world moves and changes around you, every decision you make impacts the ongoing struggle.
Each scheme unfolds in stages, with each one changing something aboard the station and affecting the gangs. Even as you influence and participate actively in each stage, the war is much bigger than any individual actor and as Warden you’ll have control of it, explosive start to bloody finish.
The Gangs
There are 6 gangs at the core of the story, each with their own “unorthodox” take on what it means to be an Advocate, and more importantly, what’s in it for them.
B.L. Orbos LLC: True beacons of their profession, B.L. Orbos LLC are interstellar big shot lawyers who are new to the station. Made up of con artists and cheats with a near infinite supply of credits, a swing of the purse gets them pretty much anything they want.
Prosperian Advocate Association (P.A.A): Made up of showmen and entertainers, P.A.A. are a bombastic gang of characters with lucrative licensing deals and a love of the limelight.
Legios Advocatum: These hedonists put the emphasis on the “seize” part of “seize the day” and make their money from their bar and selling “fan experiences” with Advocates to their adoring fans.
Law Dogs: Don’t let their limited number of 3 fool you, this trio of warriors is in it for the love of the game, and live for the fight.
Executioner’s Bane: This lot lives and dies by a code of honour, and somehow, these duelists always find a way to beat the odds, even when they’re very much not in their favour.
Neverchoked: For those who enjoy scrappy underdog fighters with links to indebted freedom fighters in the Choke. Expect guerilla tactics, a healthy amount of infighting and maybe some principles.

This year, we're trying something different. Nearly every Mothership Month project is part of a shared shipping initiative. That means:
One pledge manager. When Mothership Month ends, you’ll receive one combined pledge manager survey for all participating projects — our “mega pledge manager.” That means just one survey and one shipping payment for multiple projects.
One shipping charge. Because these projects will ship together, you’ll only pay shipping once, saving you money.
One fulfillment timeline. All participating campaigns are scheduled to ship at the same time, ensuring your rewards arrive together.
Two exceptions. Only two creators (Bombs Bursting in Air and Roach Motel) have opted out of this group fulfillment plan; their shipping will be handled separately. Why did they opt out? These two projects are very close to being ready to fulfill, and it didn't make sense to their teams to wait.
Estimated Shipping
Below is a table of estimated shipping prices based on weight. You can see at the bottom what the estimated weights are for different items. Prospero's Dream should be around the same weight (maybe slightly lighter) than the Mothership Core Set. Additionally, if you order several items you'll incur a small charge for additional items, which varies based on your country.
This does not include any applicable VAT or taxes. A reminder that these shipping prices are an estimate and its possible they will change based on global conditions beyond our control.
When will these projects ship? Our collective goal is to have all Mothership Month 2025 projects fulfilled before Mothership Month 2026 begins. Some projects are further along than others, so their timeline for digital rewards will vary. But we have roughly a year to fulfill before Mothership Month 2026, which gives everyone enough time to finish up and get their products to our warehouse.
What is Mothership Month?
Every year, Tuesday Knight Games and dozens of third-party creators launch new Mothership projects around a shared theme. This year’s theme (“The Dream Returns”) centers on Prospero’s Dream, the infamous X-Class back-world, black market space station. Each project ties back to the Dream in some way. Not only that, but we'll be opening up Prospero's Dream as a shared setting for all third-party creators going forward.
Get your exclusive Supply Pod!
This year we're changing up the Supply Pods. Now there is just ONE BIG SUPPLY POD. It's unlocked once all projects fund and it improves as we hit more group achievements. How do you get the Supply Pod? Back 5 or more projects at the physical level and get access to all the cool goodies.
Everything which Nine Lives Games makes is 100% human made without any use of large language models or image generation software. By supporting this project you'll be supporting human writers, editors, and artists.
