The World Below is a game of adversity, heroism, terror, and awe. Your characters will overcome or be defeated by terrible beasts, environmental calamities, and Kaos storms ravaging their surroundings and the souls they encounter. Delvers may be brave, but that doesn’t mean they don’t require help once in a while. That’s what this guide is: help for all delvers, explorers, and survivors in the World Below. New Callings and weapons, new Dialectics and powers, a new scenario and fresh rules for crafting and harvesting, and much, much more await within, so every delver can feel properly equipped for the adventures ahead.
The Delver’s Guide provides a massive array of new material for The World Below RPG, including:

Secrets of Kalm and Kaos is a Storyguide’s Handbook for The World Below.
There are hundreds of tales to tell of the World Below. From stories of adventurers braving Kaos storms to intrepid explorers who throw themselves into the dreamlike Obscura or harrowing Abyss. From chronicles of settlements rising and falling to those of bold delvers who go so far as to tame the beasts of their realm and call them pets. New playable options, new powers, new rules for Kalm, machinery, monstrous mounts, and more besides await within.
Secrets of Kalm and Kaos provides a huge range of new options for The World BelowRPG, including:
New playable options from among Dawns, Dialectics, and Callings; along with new powers, Theses, Syntheses, Sorceries, and rituals.
New systems for machinery, beast taming, Kaos storms, portals, gaming, and fishing.
In-depth explorations of the planar spaces such as the Dark and the Obscura, and settlements such as Telver’s Hearth and Oracaster.
A full scenario that can be run straight from the pages of the book.
Three appendices filled with random encounters, interesting characters, and every single World Below Trick compiled into a single place.
Our main goal, besides simple survival in the Vast Underground, is to enable Onyx Path to create a fully-developed PDF versions of The World Below: Delver's Guide and The World Below: Secrets of Kalm and Kaos. With your support we will also make these books available for purchase in Print-on-Demand hardcover formats offered by our partners at DriveThruRPG. The cost of printing and shipping a PoD hardcover book is not part of your pledge amount, however Crowdfunding backers will receive a special link allowing you, should you wish, to order the Print-on-Demand hardcover version at a discounted price.
Exceptional funding may allow the World Below team to outline some adventure idas and encounters and story paths to pursue in your game. Additional support will provide Onyx Path with inspiration and resources to unlock even more reward options!
Beyond those campaign-specific goals, the hope is to do what these games have always done — build a community invested in each other's stories and shared imagination. Every person who participates is joining with the goal of bringing this book into the world, and that common goal is a powerful binding element that we can't help but want to share. All participants who would like to make this project happen can pledge their support and add to the overall campaign total. If the campaign meets the funding target ($5,000), then we will have funded the project and it will become a reality. Your pledge will only be collected if we achieve our funding target.

ACCESS TO DRAFTMANUSCRIPT UPDATES – During the course of the campaign, we will be posting the ENTIRE draft manuscripts for TheWorld Below: Delver's Guide and The World Below: Secrets of Kalm and Kaos. These previews will be shared via a special Backer-Only section in our updates. Backers will be able to review the manuscripts and share feedback with the developers as well.
BACKER PDFS - Crowdfunding backers will receive a redemption link for an early versions of these books before it goes on sale to the public. These initial "Backer Version" will be used to get one final round of feedback from the fans to make the released version the best that they can be. When they have been updated to the final versions, they will automatically be updated in your DriveThruRPG digital library and available for download at your convenience.

As we increase the overall funding and support for the project, we’re able to add additional resources to the project, expand the rewards listed, and add in new offers and opportunities. Each Stretch Goal will have a target that, once reached, will add a project to the reward list for backers of the relevant Pledge Levels. Whenever we achieve a stretch goal, the listing will be updated to reflect the achievement.
At $10,000 in Funding - THE ADVENT OF THE SILT
THE ADVENT OF THE SILT - The team will create a West Marches-style adventure for The World Below, focused on exploration and cave delving. A PDF version of The Advent of Silt will be added as a bonus reward to all backers receiving either the Delver's Guide PDF or the Secrets of Kalm and Kaos PDF as part of their pledge rewards.

WORLD BELOW SHIRT DESIGN - A new World Below shirt design will be made available on Onyx Path's Redbubble sore for a limited time only. Backers will be notified when this design becomes available.
At $14,000 in Funding - WORLD BELOW DIGITAL WALLPAPER
WORLD BELOW DIGITAL WALLPAPER - All backers supporting this project will receive a digital wallpaper for their computer desktop featuring artwork from the Delver's Guide or Secrets of Kalm and Kaos books.
At $15,000 in Funding - THE ADVENT OFTHE SILT EXPANDED
THE ADVENT OF THE SILT - The adventure scenario will be expanded to include opportunities for base building and resource hunting. A PDF version of The Advent of Silt will be added as a bonus reward to all backers receiving either the Delver's Guide PDF or the Secrets of Kalm and Kaos PDF as part of their pledge rewards.
After the campaign is over we'll launch our Pledge Manager and invite the backers to set up their rewards via survey. This allows you to confirm your pledge and add on anything that you might have missed, as well as possibly increasing your pledged reward tier, should you choose to expand your reward selection. Funding collected by BackerKit after the crowdfunding campaign does not count toward any campaign Stretch Goals, however.
After the Crowdfunding campaign, in the Pledge Manager, you 'll be able to:
Review and update your Pledge Level selection - for example, you can pledge to the LANTERN IN THE DARKNESS level during the Crowdfunding campaign and then switch to the PATHS THROUGH THE VAST UNDERGROUND level to receive both books in PDF format.
Pay for additional Add On Options - we'll process payments for additional add-ons selected in your Pledge Manager survey when we get closer to PDF reward fulfillment
