Wow, over $10,000 raised, and we are rapidly approaching $11,000! We are so grateful for the support and love you've shown Badger + Coyote! We didn't think we would reach this large of a goal, and so we wanted to include something special as a thank you:
A 5x7 letterpress Badger + Coyote art print by Salt and Paper Press will be included with every physical reward tier!
We have spent the last week working with Salt and Paper Press to make this print a reality, and with final approvals, they will start the process of printing them by hand on Ophelia, their 1963 Vandercook Universal I letterpress. The art will be printed on thick 110# Crane Lettra cotton paper, with a deep impression that only letterpress can provide. We will share photos as soon as the first prints come off the press!

Assembly is Beginning!
We have already started stamping all the carrying bags for the Starter Kits with the Badger + Coyote logo! Because we are aiming for a quick turn around between the campaign end and getting the game to all of you, we have ordered some of the supplies, so we can to start work on assembly.

Updated Layout with Expanded Scenes!
We probably should have announced this a lot sooner, but when we hit our funding goal, we went back to the book and added 4 more pages to the main book! This was so we could add more artwork and scenes to Badger + Coyote and their Daring Adventures! Here's an example of the Story Twists's spread from the book.

Our Next Campaign is Ramping Up: The Substratum Protocol

This one looks quite a bit different from Badger + Coyote!
Substratum Protocol is our entry into the Deep Delving Mystery genre like Subnautica and In Other Waters.
In classic Pandion-style, this is a solo+ game about scientists, not soldiers, delving into the depths of the earth, to learn all they can about the interdimensional portal tearing apart our world, and ultimately putting a stop to it. It can be played as a solo, duet, or multiplayer game.

Build the Last Hypothesis: When you've learned all you can, and are ready to try and stop the portal, work with your other scientists to pour over your knowledge of the portal and construct your Last Hypothesis to enact your plan. Will it be enough?

Later in 2024, we will be releasing a completely redesigned Banda's Grove: The Quantum Convergence of Campgrounds - our cozy scifi TTRPG that mixes campgrounds from alien worlds from across the universe in a strange and mysterious quantum realm. We're working on a detailed setting and campaign guide for it as well.
Banda's Grove will be our first showing of a new major system! I believe the Grove System will be the most robust diceless, token-based TTRPG game to date that includes a unique resolution mechanic, magic, combat, city building, character leveling, and more. It's a huge experiment for us that we're both nervous and excited about.
The Grove System has 2 additional games in early development as well to test how well it can build games in other genres: Penumbra, a modern eldritch folk horror game inspired by The Secret World, and Trawlers: a cold northern sea adventuring game inspired by Dredge. However, we do not currently have a release date for them.
If you like two player games (and you're on this list, so I hope you do!) then we have a treat for you! One of our favorite two player games is Tether by Adam Bafoni, and we have worked with Adam to create a dedicated journal for this horror letter writing game.
The Tether Journal is a player aid to collect the opening world building, your card draws, and, most importantly, all your journal entries in one place. At the end, you'll have a fantastic artifact of your play through of Tether, capturing the terrifying journey you and a friend went on.
Bundled in a custom printed envelope - Use it to protect the journal as you pass it back and forth during play!
The journal is purpose built for playing Tether, including pages dedicated to the setup of the game.
Some very exciting news today: The first 40 shipments are going out today! We will be packing your games up and shipping them out every day until it is done. My goal is to have everything shipped out by December 15th at the latest.
We also made a last-minute change to the starter kits - their outer bags have been upgraded from a lightweight linen to a sturdy canvas! These not only look and feel better, but will stand up much longer to being thrown in your backpack with all your other stuff.

As we fulfill Badger + Coyote, we wanted to let you know about our next project: Substratum Protocol!
A little different from the pastoral duet game, Substratum Protocol is our unique take on deep exploration mysteries, inspired by Subnautica and In Other Waters.
Like those games, Substratum Protocol focuses on the efforts of daring scientists, not soldiers. Anyone who likes science fiction or cosmic horror mysteries will absolutely love this game as it puts in the role of the scientists standing toe to toe with knowledge beyond your comprehension.
The landing page is live, and we're planning to launch the campaign in Spring 2024!
The things we're most excited about with Substratum Protocol is its mystery game system that includes a player-driven end game trigger for grand finales, and its stress mechanics that give players new powers at a cost as they succumb to the influences of an interdimensional portal at the center of the earth.
We have partnered up with Galen Pejeau for art, who is making wonderful illustrations of the scientist's exosuit, a map to the center of the earth, and creature field sketches to for players to encounter.

We have shipping confirmation for the books and character sheets, with some deliveries arriving today! All told, we are expected to get over 200 pounds of books delivered at the end of November.
We also have all of our supplies for the starter kits and are just waiting on the character sheets and booklets to arrive. We have over 1600 dice, 800 pencils, and 400 wooden mushroom tokens waiting to be assembled into your starter kits!
Finally, the Badger + Coyote art prints are being printed! We got to see them, and Salt and Paper Press has done a fantastic job with them. The heavy cotton paper and deep impression of the print is just fantastic. We're getting 350 made, and if you backed the campaign at a physical reward tier, you will get one of these prints included.
