Yes it does! The Solo Game is set in the future of the Astral Union, so Solo players can use the Multiplayer game (and its included solo play mode) to explore the ancestry of their pilot, mech, or just see the Astral Union in a new light! That said, you don't need to buy both to play either.

Digital copies of new content will be released as soon as they are ready - which we're planning on being in Q3 2027. Digital copies of existing materials will be released as soon as you lock your pledge, or when the pledge manager closes (depending on any technical issues we may or may not encounter).

Yes, we always try to allow that option. There are currently no plans for missable crowd funding content, but if limited edition pledge tiers sell out, then we won't be adding more. Likewise if items are Limited Edition, they won't be guaranteed to be available when the game reaches stores.

If the total of your pledge is over $150, then you will see the option to select Pay Over Time during checkout. When the campaign ends and the project reaches its funding goal, Pay Over Time backers will be charged a quarter of their balance monthly, for four months. You can choose to pay off your remaining balance early in the app. It's important to note that you cannot be imported into Pledge Manager or receive your pledge management survey until your balance is fully paid.

During the campaign, pledges may be cancelled at any time by removing your pledge. Upon completion of the funding period, all pledges are final. You can get a full refund without any conditions by contacting [email protected] within 14 days of the end of the funding period. If you do not submit all information to the pledge manager within 6 weeks from the first notification to do so, you agree that we have fulfilled our obligations to you in full for any payments made. Parable Games may, at our discretion, refund or ship your pledge even if this information is not submitted by this deadline. All refunds are made in GBP (British Pounds).

You can play ION Heart Multiplayer online - in fact you can check out us doing just that in a video on the campaign page. The game uses simple D6s, so you can play on Roll 20, or your online hub of choice. There is not currently VTT support, but it is something we will look at in the future.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
