Don't want to leave you hanging. Just a quick update to say the Legend of the Silver Colosseum will go out to you all tomorrow evening. We like to round out these adventures with some sketches throughout and I noticed we're missing 3. So those will go in tomorrow morning before giving it the final once over.

We've had our heads down here at Penny Dragon with multiple projects in layout over the last few weeks, Silver Colosseum being one of them.
We always look forward to the epic feedback we receive from so many of you after a PDF release. You've helped us implement changes that constantly improve the content we put out. And for that we are SO grateful!

Legend of the Silver Colosseum is nearing the end of its meticulous scribing process. The quills and inks of our devoted scribes have all but laid the final strokes upon its venerable pages. Our editors, those steadfast guardians of grammar and syntax, are in the throes of their final deliberations, ensuring that each word is as polished as the armor of the mightiest gladiator.
In the grand tapestry of art, our illustrators—the veritable conjurers of vision—wield their brushes and pigments with masterful strokes, bringing forth imagery that will ensnare your senses and transport you into the very heart of Spectacle.
All this to say…the adventure is nearly ready to go to our graphic design wizard and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it!

Apologies for the lack of update on this campaign. It has been a busy (and tough) start to the new year and we've had a lot of processes to iron out as a team.
The incredible Nicci-Grace, our resident elf lorekeeper, is wrapping up the writing on Legend of the Silver Colosseum as we speak. The Unlock the Vault series is a little different from our usual one shots and it has taken a little longer for us to work out the structuring of these 8 new adventures.
I'll be able to update you again once this adventure goes to layout next week.
The good news is that we've built a solid foundation going forward and are eager to bring each of these keys to life!
One Dollar One Shots
On our previous update we spoke about balancing the considerable amount of work that goes into producing our 20+ page $1 One Shots and the fact that as much as we love doing them, we can't afford to produce projects of this size at that price point any longer.
Your input and feedback on the poll has been so kind, we really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
The thing is, so many of you let us know in our contact mailbox that you do still enjoy getting something fun for $1 and even if it were a smaller you think it would be fun.
Well, we want you to know we've heard you.
As an experiment to see whether it is something our community would like, we're launching a bite sized campaign entitled "One Shilling One Shots". Essentially a paired back version of our one shot campaigns, 4 pages of adventure including monster art and stat block, magic items and NPCs. Something we can continue to bring to the community for $1, but also a manageable size for us to produce at this price point.

You've unlocked a ton of extra goodies including the 4 Pre-Gen Character Sheets before this shorter campaign ended...and let's face it, we all know we're going to sneak a few extras in there too.
Our team is wrapping up a couple of outstanding adventures from our previous one shot campaigns such as Whispers Upon the Waves (which has proven a beast of an adventure - I promise it is worth the wait), the first key in the Unlock the Vault series - Tomb of the Undead King and getting this one shot to publication too. Along with a number of other mini adventures and Gizcog's magic item book.
We have an exceedingly busy January and February ahead, and we love it!
One Dollar One Shots
We originally set out to create and run these one dollar campaigns for 6 months, they were so well received we made an effort to push them beyond this. Somehow it has now been 15 months of One Dollar One Shots - what a wild, incredible ride it has been!
Our way of thanks to a community that pulled us through a lot of personal trials in recent years, trials I won't elaborate on here. It is no exaggeration that D&D and the love of this game saved us. That very community, all of you, lead us to the dream of building ttrpg books, of building Penny Dragon.
We'll be back in February with one final One Dollar One Shot campaign, bringing you the third key in the Unlock the Vault series - Haunting of the Everwood.
After this, we will continue to bring our one shots to the community at a much lower price point before they are released on our web store. However, they will no longer be $1.
Try as we may, we simply can't sustain the same level of quality without compromising our wonderful team of writers and artists. And this is a decision we've come to as a team.
