This is a quick one to say that most copies should have arrived by now - we've had a handful of returns come back to the studio and we've emailed those who've been affected. Please pop along to our Discord and share pictures, session reports, and let us know how you've gotten on! https://discord.gg/apbfB5AUw2

Now... on to the exciting stuff I think you Mothership heads might like:
Milk Bar: Cut Your (Milk) Teeth Edition is now available!
Milk Bar is my sci-fi roleplaying game set in a retro-futuristic, post-soviet Poland. You play Communards who live in the surrounds of The Belt, a government research facility responsible for a catastrophe which destroyed your city. Your Milk Bar is a base, an idea, you work to rebuild.
Inspired by seminal Zonelike works like Stalker, Roadside Picnic, and Annihilation, and taking strong direction from Control, Pacific Drive, Death Stranding, and State of Decay. Milk Bar is takes the idea of Stress from Mothership and makes it collective: how does your Milk Bar survive when the people in it are battered and broken? How do you keep the peace when fuel is low and food is running out? How do you build a self-sustaining community when surrounded by supernatural danger and impossible spaces?
The Cut Your (Milk) Teeth Edition is a 52-page condensed version of the full game containing everything you need to get started playing immediately.
There are only 200 copies of this one out in the world so get yours as soon as you can!
The Cut Your (Milk) Teeth Edition features:
Quick, simplified rules inspired by Mothership.
32 Character backgrounds, including vibes-heavy descriptions and burdens.
Unique city setting in a retro-futuristic, alternate-timeline post-Soviet Communist Poland.
Artifacts from the Belt. You can't have a condemned government research base without weird artifacts.
Progression system tied to basebuilding. Want to stitch up those wounds? You better build an Infirmary and find a Doctor. Your Milk Bar is your home base.
Logistics. Building a community isn't easy: set up trade routes and gather vehicles to set your Milk Bar up for success.
Rules for exploring supernatural, changing spaces. Steel nuts in hand, stalk the wilderness.
A Bestiary featuring robotniks and supernatural creatures.
Pierogi. How many other games have a favourite pieróg table as part of character creation?
Just a quick one from me to say that the book is meant to look like that! I've had a few emails from folks asking if the printing is defective and I wanted to clarify that we printed the book using what's known as Swiss Binding. Because our page count is higher than staples can tolerate, I made the call to use swiss binding - it means the book can lay flat and you get to see the cool blue thread we used for the stitching. I thought that was a better option than perfect binding, which can be a bit of a pain to keep open when using at the table.
Really happy to see more and more books arriving with you!
Ever wondered what 2,000 Johnsons look like, all in one place?
yes I know, I got these shelving units from a warehouse clearance and the height of the shelves is whack and they need rearranging
Last weekend, the Johnson crew got together to handle 850 orders and get them ready for shipping.
Me, and the two writers of Johnson Squared: Sam and Josh, in the Peregrine Coast Press studio
We're glad to say that we handed over 850 orders last week (at least those who filled in their surveys by the 2nd of July) so lucky UK folks might start receiving them as soon as today! The others will be travelling over sacred and terrible air and arriving in your respective countries over the next few weeks.
Customer Service Bits To account for delays and customs and whatnot, please only send us an email if your book hasn't arrived within 30 days after today. If your book arrives and it's dinged up, we got your order wrong, or you want to send us a photo of your Johnson in your hands, please get in touch at [email protected] and either Jamila or myself will get back to you.
You can join our Discord via the link: https://discord.gg/apbfB5AUw2 and we're on most social media under Peregrine Coast Press. We're really excited to see books arriving with folks so please do tag us in any posts on social media!
Addendum As is always the case with projects like this, you only ever notice mistakes once it's too late to do anything about them. Just as a heads up: the book mentions that there's an access card system on the station. Each NPC has an access card listed in their description, but we accidentally left out the access level needed to access each part of the station. It's mostly set dressing as the Crewmembers immediately get an all-access card when they take the job on so this accidental omission shouldn't have a huge effect on your game, but we'll be releasing a fix in the PDF version soon just in case.
Thanks, and chat soon, Eryk and the Johnson Squared team
