Flights of Fancy is a new standalone Mausritter campaign
It is set in the forest of Feathertail Falls. A strange mix of tangleweed and pocket lint has covered much of the forest floor, and mice are in need of adventurers brave enough to fly from tree to tree. You will travel to places no mice can reach on foot to discover the secrets of the airborne creatures untouched by the tendrils that reach from the forest floor.

Three adventures are made by the ENNIE nominated creators of Feathertail Falls. Bit we have invited three more creators to each make another aerial adventures in the Feathertail Forest, if they're unlocked as stretch goals.
Soar into the unknown with aerial items and backgrounds
Roll on a unique aerial background table. Perhaps you'll fold out your air glider. Throw a rainbow shield to ride the rainbow. Grab a co-pilot and pilot your own plane, or fly freely with some fairy dust... as long as you can hold on to a happy memory.
Battle it out in the air with rules for flying
It is dangerous to be a mouse. Even more so to be one in the air. Flying mice are always on the move, and one mistake sends you plummeting. Flights of Fancy expands the rules for Mausritter to make aerial situations simple and fun, keeping it light in the spirit of Mausritter.
We have three more creators lined up and ready to write more adventures for Flights of Fancy. With each stretch goal we break through, a new creator will join to add their adventure to the collection.
The tallest riverside conifer of the Feathertail Forest forms the stage of a prestigious obstacle course. Fly over its canopies, vault from branch to branch and swim across the river to beat the competition!
Flights of Fancy and Mausolympics are combining flight and competition in a cross-collab that brings the Feathertail Triathlon to life! Back both projects to receive a digital print-and-play game board and a digital leaflet filled with rules and unique challenges for each segment of the race.

Mausritter Month is a month-long celebration of the award-winning tabletop RPG Mausritter, running from November 4 – December 4, 2025. It unites dozens of talented creators releasing new adventures, settings, and zines — all set in the whimsical and sword-wielding small world of mice. Fans can explore new adventures, new settings, genre-bending campaigns, creative supplements, and support a thriving indie community.
Back seven or more participating projects to earn a free pack of 16 wooden mouse meeples — one for each featured creator — and join in a cozy, creative event where tiny heroes take on epic quests together.
Shipping fees are collected post-campaign in the Pledge Manager. Flights of Fancy is part of the Mausritter Month discounted group shipping. This means that if your pledge includes a physical reward, this will be bundled in one shipment along with all the other physical rewards you pledged to from other projects that participate in the discounted group shipping.
What incentives am I eligible for? Flights of Fancy offers a few digital rewards as incentives to backers.
Backers who also back Mausolympics will receive the Feathertail Triathlon.
Backers who backed previous projects (Feathertail Falls or Incarnis) will receive two unique Mausritter item cards that tie in with those two games.
Pre-launch followers will receive the eager beaver item card.
Early birds will catch the worm item card.
All these incentives are only available to backers. Pre-orders and late pledges do not automatically qualify. Message us if this is you and you would still like to receive the reward.
Is Feathertail Falls included as a physical print in the Feathertail Edition and Fancy Edition? The Feathertail Falls prints are NOT included anywhere in this crowdfunder. We are part of the Mausritter Month discounted group shipping. A prerequisite for that was that our campaign can only offer one type of physical reward that is the same for each and every backer.
Am I missing out if I don't have Feathertail Falls? Flights of Fancy is set in the same region as Feathertail Falls, called the Feathertail Forest. Flights of Fancy offers new adventures and factions to play it as a standalone campaign. However, because of the sandbox design, both collections can be effortlessly combined into one bigger collection. If you don't have Feathertail Falls, you can still add its factions, creatures, encounters and items, which are available for free. You will only be missing out on the Feathertail Falls adventures, which are optional.
