Big news everyone - the pins arrived with me last week and they're almost ready to be shipped out!

Here are some photos of them! I'm so pleased with how they came out, and it looks like all the quantities are correct and the quality of them turned out great. And daaaaamn they're BIG!!!

Please excuse the terrible photo quality, but I'm sure you get the idea. I think the rainbow stag beetle might in fact be my favourite~

I've got two HUGE events over the next two weekends back to back ( MCM London and then UK Games Expo - I may be sucked into a void from exhaustion, please bear with me! ) and then I'll be working on getting these bad boys shipped out to all backers asap.

With this in mind, please keep an eye on your inboxes over the next week as I plan to lock all orders and addresses ready for shipping from the 2nd of June! I'll be processing the Early Bird orders first, then everyone else straight after that. Depending on when all backers' pledges are shipped, the Pre Order store will be closed as soon as the final backer order is processed, and then any leftovers will be added to my website store and Etsy at standard price, to keep things as fair to everyone as possible. 

As always, any questions, just let me know! This will be my first time fulfilling pledges through Backerkit, so it might take me a couple of weeks to get everything processed depending on how easily I can import everyone's postal addresses into the Royal Mail system. I have a horrible feeling it might end up being a manual process, as the default postal label options through Backerkit itself are all American providers, but there might be something I can export or do to make it easier. Pray for me!

Hello everyone~!

I have some exciting updates for you but first of all, thank you so much for being patient with me while I get everything sorted in the background! As it stands, the holographic stickers, A5 foil prints and packing materials are now in stock with me, safe and ready to go once the enamel pins arrive. I just need to get the backing cards finished and ordered and then once the pins are with me I can start shipping your orders out to you. I'm so excited!

Anyway, here's a photo of the A5 foil Moth Beast prints, which arrived earlier this afternoon. I haven't numbered or signed them yet, but I think they've come out really well~

I also had an update from my pin Manufacturer too - they've given me a shipping date of early May, so they should be with me within the first week or so of next month! They've had to redo the rainbow version of the Stag Beetle, as the first batch ended up having small imperfections ( like dust specs ) on the finished surface of a large percentage of them. You can see that below:

Thanks again to everyone who’s filled in their surveys, I've had a 98% completion rate and as I said last time, you will still have the chance to update your addresses before I send anything out, so don’t panic if you’re planning on moving or anything changes. I expect to send everything out by the end of May. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me.

Hey everyone!

Good news, the vinyl stickers have arrived, including the dragonfly freebie, and I couldn’t wait to show you all how they’ve come out! The Stag Beetle and Dragonfly are my favourites and I used the same colour pallet and style for all four of the main designs and I think they look sick as a set. Check em out below! They’ve also come out ever so slightly larger than the 2.5 inches I estimated - they’re more like 2.75” ( 2 inches and 3 quarters?! I’m in the UK and have no idea how you type that! ) which is exactly 7cm wide.

I’ve also had an update from my pin manufacturer too, and they estimate that they should be finished with the entire batch by the end of April! I’m so so excited, especially as I’ve never ordered such a large number before, and rainbow plating is my absolute favourite type of enamel pin finish. I’ll keep you all posted about any changes in timescales once I have another update from them, but in the meantime, the next thing for me to do is design the backing cards. I’m going to keep them simple and classy, to try and keep the emphasis on the pin badges themselves when they’re in use. I’ll be back with some designs asap!

Good morning everyone!

I’ve noticed a few of you asking about the collab pin not showing up on your surveys but never fear - they will be added through the Celestial Beasts project!

I should have made this more obvious as I didn’t realise people would be expecting to see it as an actual item on their list once the survey was finished as we are both very new to Backerkit - please accept my apologies! We decided to use just one of our manufacturers to create both of the collab pins, to ensure that the gold plating would look identical, and to save on postage. Abi will in fact be adding both of our pins to qualifying orders - so if you see the collab pin on her survey, you’re getting mine as well! Both of them will be in the parcel you get from Abi. 

Please do go ahead and finish your survey for Celestial Insects if you haven’t done so yet, and if you have any more questions, just let me know! I’ll try and answer as quickly as possible, but do bear in mind that I am in the Uk so there might be a slight time zone delay. 

Abi and I are also having a chat about what the backing cards should look like at the moment too - watch this space!

Good news, the surveys will finally be coming out over the next few days for you all to select which pins you'd like. I've also had an update from my manufacturer with a photo of two of the molds too, check them out! These are the Celestial Stag Beetle and Celestial Moth:

The other two are almost ready now too and I need to get back to them with quantities for each design once I get the surveys back. I'm so excited!

The Pre-order store is also now open!

This is the perfect option for anyone who missed out on the campaign while it was live. Please note - if you're an existing backer, don't use the Pre-order shop as you'll be charged twice for postage! Don't worry - you'll have the chance to add any extras you missed out on during the campaign at the end of your survey, and once you've filled it in and added your postal address, shipping will finally be charged. Keep your eyes peeled on your inbox for your survey link when it arrives! 

If you have any questions regarding the survey, or the pre-order store, just let me know. The survey was quite complicated to get set up, but it should be quite straight forward now to complete. I look forward to seeing which pin design is the most popular. I've got a feeling it might be the Mantis, but we shall see!
