It’s been a few weeks since the Pintopia event ended, and I wanted to thank you all for your patience while I’ve been continuing work behind the scenes.
First, a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported the Jurassic Peck project! We managed to just hit the stretch goal for the crow pin by the skin of our teeth (£5 over the goal - talk about close!). This means that when surveys go out, you’ll be able to choose from all five bird pins for your tier rewards.
I expect the survey to be ready to send out by 6 March, if it isn’t approved sooner. The survey will allow you to select the pins you want and will also include shipping costs, which are charged separately from the backed cost of the project. During the survey, you’ll also be able to add additional add-ons to your order, including pins, stickers, prints, patches, and lanyards.
Once the survey is live, please complete it as soon as possible - otherwise, I won’t be able to ship your order.
Please be aware that there may be a slight delay in transferring funds to the manufacturer. My business bank needs to confirm the validity of the campaign amount, and since this is my first campaign, they’re understandably being extra cautious. While I work through this, please make sure that if your payment method has failed, you correct it as soon as possible so I can place manufacturing orders without further delays.
I will be setting up a pre-order shop for anyone who missed their chance to back the project to obtain Jurassic Peck merch so keep an eye out for this!
Some more good news: I’m moving house! This will give me more space to process orders, and I don’t expect this to cause any significant delays. My flatmate will be staying in my current place for a few months after I move out, so I’m arranging for deliveries to continue there to avoid any issues. Rest assured, this is something I’ve been saving for over the years, and the money raised from Pintopia will be going directly back into the project.
I’m really looking forward to placing the order for all the Jurassic Peck merch and will continue to provide updates where I can.
100 pre-launch followers This was a big surprise to me. As some may know, this is my first EVER campaign project AND pin project. I had no idea how many people would have interest in something like Jurassic Peck - a very unserious campaign of doodles, parody, and experimentation.
There are currently sticker sheets with 100 bird doodles being made to celebrate this achievement. I wish I could have streamed them all but my time has been so limited that I haven't been able to get the space for enough streams. They will be finished tonight/tomorrow in time for people to add the sheets to their pledges during the surveys!
Funded in less than a week Also a surprise to me. I half expected this project not to get funded until the last possible moment. This is probably the biggest achievement out of everything. Without this project being funded within the first week, I likely would not have had anything to show for all of the work I put into Jurassic Peck.
I'm so incredibly excited for everything that comes after the event ends and for people to start receiving things that I have designed. It's awesome to think that people like my silly doodles!
(Nearly) unlocked the entire bird set With less than two days remaining, we are so close to unlocking all of the birds which is AWESOME! We are less than £150 away from the final bird - the crow- being unlocked. I'll be posting more "escaped" clues today and tomorrow in the hopes that the crow can be found and the birds can all be funded for everyone to select their favourite between them during the surveys.

I don't know who it stole a phone from but the escaped crow has sent me a message: “I am somewhere educational.” Its now demanding 100 backers on Jurassic Peck before it gives us another clue.
Thankfully we are, at the time of writing this, at 92. This means we only need 8 more backers before the crow is satisfied enough to give us the next clue on where it is.
This is Park Staff Member #47 reporting a Level Feather‑Five Emergency. Our crow — yes, the dramatic one — has escaped containment. Again. It stole my lunch, boarded public transport without paying, and is now hiding in a real‑world location.
Over the final 9 days of this project, I’ll be releasing clues as we attempt to track this menace down. The crow is only dropping clues when the project meets it's milestone demands. Talk about dramatic.
Your assistance is desperately needed. I am not emotionally equipped for another avian incident.

After a successful vote, I have now added the birdified doodles as an add-on for £35. This is a discounted version of my usual doodle commissions which are £45. This add-on will let you get a doodle of yourself, your friend, your pet, favourite character, job hobby etc but turned into a bird! if it is already a bird, I'll draw it anyway ;)
