Thanks to your patience and support, we’ve successfully navigated the recent tariff changes without passing along any additional costs to our backers. The flexibility you gave us allowed us to avoid the highest tariff period and we are able to cover the new tariff costs on our end. Your understanding over the past few weeks made all the difference.

No Tariff-Related Charges Will Be Passed On.
We’re happy to report that the final shipping charges do not include any increases related to the tariff situation. Your pledge price and shipping costs remain as originally planned.

Shipping Charges Begin Next Week.
BackerKit will send out an "Upcoming Charge" email as early as Monday of next week. 48 hours later, your cards will be charged for the shipping cost. If you need to update your payment method or shipping address, now is the time to log into BackerKit and make any final adjustments.

Shipping Is Imminent.
Once the charges are processed, we’ll begin fulfillment. Your rewards are printed, packed, and ready to move. We’re excited to start getting them into your hands very soon!

Final Shipping Rates.
You can review your outstanding balance for shipping by visiting your pledge in the BackerKit pledge manager. These rates reflect our best available pricing through trusted shipping partners and are not inflated due to tariffs.

Your Pledge Is Safe.

We want to reassure every backer: your rewards are produced and safe. This campaign was fully funded and successfully printed before the current tariff changes took effect.

We Are 100% Committed to Delivery.
There is no scenario where this campaign doesn’t fulfill. Your books and rewards are ready and waiting at our printing partner’s warehouse.

We're Navigating the New Tariff Situation Thoughtfully.
As many of you know, the United States has implemented steep new tariffs on overseas imports. These changes were announced after our printing was complete, and could substantially increase import costs if we ship right now.

We’re Exploring Smart Options.
These new tariffs may not be permanent, they are being used as a negotiation tactic. We are exploring responsible short-term storage and timing options that could let us avoid or mitigate these costs.

This Is About Protecting the Campaign and Community.
Paying sudden, inflated tariffs could impact future campaigns and products. By waiting up to 30 days (and no more than that), we protect your investment and ensure we can continue to bring you high-quality books and other projects.

We’ll Keep You Updated.
We’ll share updates as this situation evolves and as we make import decisions. If the tariffs look to be long-term, we’ll ship regardless and absorb the additional costs. For now, we believe a short delay is the most responsible path.

Visit your Shopping Cart to make sure it is clear of items.

Complete your order OR if you have items in your cart you do not wish to purchase right now, you should remove them so you can complete your Kickstarter rewards order. There is no charge to complete your Kickstarter order, but prior non-campaign items in your cart will incur the normal charge. 
 

(1) Visit MY ACCOUNT > COUPONS at Peginc.com

(2) Click on the Coupon with code that begins "RIFTSREPRINT_"
- You will get a "Coupon code applied successfully." message

(3) Click on VIEW CART to continue the check out process.
- Verify that your Pledge and Add-On PDFs appear in your cart and have a $0.00 total.

(4) Click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT > Continue > Continue

(5) Check the [x] I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions * button

(6) Click PLACE ORDER

Note: All orders should be $0 and not require further payment.

Depending on your pledge level, all PDFs will now be available for you and will be located in your DOWNLOADS. 

Note: This process grants access to the current version of the PDFs. Some of these PDFs will be updated in the future to match the Printing Version of the physical books. For example, a v2.0 of the PDFs will be released when the Second Printing of a title is available for sale in print. The version number of your files can be found on a yellow sticky note on the first page of the PDF that is viewable in Adobe Acrobat. 

So, if you're printing these files out, they will not necessarily match the most current version of the PDFs when these books arrive for fulfillment later this year.

Hey Rifters,

Because HALF of you have purchased Add-Ons in the BackerKit Pledge Manager Phase, we think it makes more sense to deliver PDF access to those add-ons as well as your pledge levels ASAP instead of waiting for physical campaign fulfillment.

To this end, we've sent out a 48 hour notice to "Lock Orders" and "Charge Cards" ... this means that the majority of you who have already completed your pledge surveys will have another two days to make any additional add-ons or changes before we "lock" your orders. You will still be able to automatically change your address up until we ship the physical books.

Should you still want to make changes, we can unlock your order by request.  Reach out to us at [email protected] to have your order unlocked.

Your payments for your pledge level choices have already been charged. Any add-ons you have made AFTER the campaign will be able to be charged once your orders are locked.  As a convenience, we will NOT charge add-ons until at least February 5th, 2025.  If you need more time than that to arrange for payment for your add-ons, no worries, just reach out to [email protected] for an extension. 

After we charge cards, we will pull your pledge and add-on data and delivery coupons that will allow you to access your PDFs on PEGINC.COM.
