The Publishing Goblin's Oracle Dice return for their final edition, with two unique 22-dice sets of oracle dice that read your future and divine answers to your questions!
Light the candles, dim the lights, lay the cloth. Now, gather your questions and cast them before you. What do the dice have to say?
With the Goblin's Oracle Dice, you will divine in new ways. Choose the dice that connect to your question, then cast them over the mat. Find meaning in the dice faces, their groupings, the quarters they find in the reading grids. Do they call from within, or from without? What knowledge do they wish to impart this night, and will you be listening closely?
Oracle Dice are a type of divination tool, just like tarot. If you're familiar with tarot, you'll be able to understand the dice as being very similar. Each of the 22-dice has 6 unique faces (one has 12, but you get the idea), and each of the faces falls under a singular theme. The Summer die focuses on the sweat of summer-- working hard, playing hard, earning money, and getting things done.
After you or your querent (the person with the question) asks their question, you'll select a handful of dice from the 22. You can read as few as 3-4, or the entire set, but a good number to read with is 8-12. You then pick one of the two sides of your reading grid cloth, shake up the dice, and drop them down onto the grid. Where they land, which face is up, how they group together, and where they are on the grid all come into play to help determine what the dice reading means.
From there, you work area by area in the grid to understand what the dice are saying. The Disrepair face of the Spring die in the Mind quarter of the grid can mean that you've let some things you have been thinking about fall apart from neglect. If the Fist of the Summer die is also there next to it, it could mean that there was some righteous anger about frustrating circumstances you were going to release to set things right, but in time you've allowed it to fade away.
For sample readings, check the above video, or the last 2/3rds of the video below. Both show sample readings on the fly to help you understand how they work.
A set comes in a magnetic close book-open-style box. Inside, you'll find 22-dice in a velvet dice bag, an 18x18 inch two-sided reading cloth with a grid on each side, and a thorough guidebook with cheat sheet tarot-sized cards for each of the 22 dice in the set, plus the oracle cards of the Lords of the dice.
The boxes here are all mockups, and don't represent the final forms.
The sets on offer here are two different dice sets: The Seasons Set ($65) and the Key Keepers Set ($69). These two dice sets have different dice sets, guidebooks, and different reading grids on their 2-sided cloths. There is also the Chest Set ($170), which comes in the new storage Chest, and features both the Seasons and Key Keepers Sets in their boxes. The chest fits all the dice, guides, cloths, and more, and comes in either black or dark green.
The Key Keepers Set welcomes 7 new metallic resin dice from 7 new Lords-- the Key Keepers themselves. From the Empty Sky, to the Burning Day and back to the Deepest Night, the Key Keeper is one entity with a rotating, 7-sided face. It is the Keeper for a set of Magic Keys that is still many nights away. But here, it visits early bearing with it 7 dice. In the original Seasons Set of dice, the four seasonal dice make the basis of most readings I do. But I rarely choose to read just the four seasonal dice on their own. With the Key Keepers dice, I find the 7 dice to be plenty for a reading. Still, they are not alone here.
Joining them is The Black Lantern, The Housewife, The Gametaker, and Ophiuchus. The Black Lantern bears the Black Lantern dice, a 5-dice set of glow-in-the-dark dice that focus on misery, trauma, and healing. The Housewife brings out her Tupperware of the Housewives Dice, a 5-dice set of glow-in-the-dark dice that focus on social topics, loyalty, community, and more. The Gametaker approaches with his four dice, stolen from board games, but adding new die faces to readings. And finally, Ophiuchus brings her Astrologer's Die, a 12-sided die with the zodiac on its faces.
Images of the Key Keepers Dice are 3d mockups, and not necessarily representative of the final versions.
The Seasons Dice Set returns from the 2nd edition of the oracle dice. These dice are tried and true, tested for years and beloved by many. From its 4 core Lords, the Youth of Spring, the Crone of Summer, the Baron of Autumn, and The Maiden of Winter, come our four basic dice. The Seasons Dice.
But they are not alone! 18 other Lords stand behind their 18 dice, opening a dialogue between the lords with every reading. What does the Heir of Earth's Elements Die have to say to the Chronicler of Choice's Majors Die? Every reading you will have the chance to choose which dice will accompany your core 4 to best answer your questions, then choose between the Seasons reading grid and the Past-Present-Future reading grid to cast your dice over.
Need even more goodies? We've got you covered! Get extra dice sets, wood boxes, chests, or the die face oracle decks and journals! All of these will keep your craft accompanied by amazing carrying cases, storage solutions, and new ways to track or use your dice.
The chest is 13.5" wide, 7" deep, and 8.25" tall. Looking for specific parts of the dice sets? See Update add-ons below!
Returning diviners, welcome! Pub Gob appreciates your return from the 2nd, or perhaps even the 1st editions of the Oracle Dice. I'm really excited to announce that dice sets now come in nice boxes that will look super great on your bookshelves, and guidebooks come with color-matched tarot-card-sized cheat sheets for each die in your set. Or get just the 22 cheat sheet cards on their own!
If you want to get just the extra bits you need to 'update' your set, that would be the new guidebook and empty box for the 2nd edition set now called the Seasons Set, you can do so with the $1 "Add-Ons Only" pledge tier, then grab the "UPDATE" add-ons you want!
For those of you who already have some of the oracle dice, there are options for you to get in on the project and get just the new things you need without duplicates!
If you already had the 22-dice set from last time, now called The Seasons Set, you can grab just the UPDATE Addons for "Updated Seasons Guidebook" and "Seasons Empty Box" to get the updated guidebook with cheat sheets and the set's box to store the set in.
If you only have the 2nd edition set, but do not have or are not getting any of the other dice, you can grab just the Keys Set Pledge Tier or Add-On in its entirety and you're caught up on dice.
For those of you who already have some of the Keys dice, either because you backed the Alleyway Oracles and got the 3 "Gametaker's dice" in one of those add-on bags, or if you're getting the deluxe editions of The Misery Tarot or The Hot Housewives Tarot, both of which contribute 5 new dice each to the Keys Dice set, you can now grab just the new things you need.
UPDATE - The Key Keeper's Base Set - This includes the set's box, cloth, guidebook with cheat sheet and Lords cards, then the 9 new dice that haven't been available anywhere else. This includes the Key Keeper's 7 dice, the new Standard d6, and the new 12-sided Astrologer's die.
UPDATE - The Black Lantern Dice - Featured in the Deluxe edition of the Misery Tarot.
UPDATE - The Housewives Dice - Featured in the Deluxe edition of the Hot Housewives Tarot.
UPDATE - The Gametaker's Dice - Featured in the Alleyway Oracles add-on bag.
These upgrade addons with just specific groupings of dice, the updated Season's Dice guidebook, these piecemeal items will only be available on this project. After this project ends, ONLY the full Season Dice Set, Key Dice Set, or Chest Set will be available for purchase. So if you only need some new items and don't want to end up with extras, you must back now.
Back both this project and our partner project for physical goods and you'll get free enamel pins from each of us!
Back in the first 48 hours and you'll get a free 7-print set of the Key Keepers Lords.
And finally, trivia contest winners will get a free item that will become a buyable add-on in the pledge manager for those who didn't get it.

LOCKED | OVERTIME Specials When our campaign reaches the final moments, every time someone backs, the time left for the project is reset to 10 minutes. This is overtime on the Backer Train. Historically, y'all love keeping me on the end-of-campaign livestream, and I have a tendency to add extra items to the project, release some cheap pledge tiers or add-ons, and become a loopy little goblin. For this project, I have some fun surprises that will only come around during this time, based on how long you keep me on and how much we raise! So stay tuned for the fun.
Publishing Goblin has become quite the home for divination tools. Now is your time to get in on some of the new, some of the old, and of course, the first, record breaking and award winning Alleyman's Tarot.
Our partner, Kage, is creating the major-arcana only set of the Midnight Tarot, alongside a set of enamel pins of the card's creatures. If you back both of our projects for physical items, you'll receive two free pins with your orders. For Kage, you'll receive this lovely little sea creature who swallowed an entire die! For us, you'll receive a chunky Dice Goblin enamel pin, pictured above.

As needed, we will wait out Tariffs to avoid raising prices or charging you more than necessary.
On this project, we are folding in the Misery Tarot and Hot Housewives Tarot into our manufacturing and fulfillment timeline. For that reason, we will be shipping in waves. First, we will ship out packages of Misery Tarot decks on their own, then Hot Housewives Tarot on their own (or with Misery Tarot decks), then finally when the Dice are completed, we will ship Dice packages and any other combined packages.
July: Manufacturing Misery Tarot
August: Manufacturing Hot Housewives Tarot & Dice
September: Shipping Misery Tarot-Only Packages
October: Shipping Hot Housewives Tarot-Only (+Mis Tarot) Packages
At this time, this is our estimated timeline. This time may move sooner or later by a couple months, and will be made clear in regular monthly updates after the campaign ends. If it becomes clear we will only ship packages in December at the height of the holidays, we may push back to January to ship in the new year.
We will be charging shipping at a later time in the pledgemanager.
*PO box addresses will raise the price of shipping for most.
Bear in mind that adding add-ons will affect the price of shipping, and that we are not including Taxes, local fees, or VAT in these shipping estimates. At this time, these extra costs will include Tariffs, depending on the political situation when we move to ship. If they are unreasonably high, we will wait them out first as long as is reasonable. See the FAQ for further information.

Ezra Kimbell is the artist behind the Lord illustrations, the Guidebook Covers, and the Reading Grids on the cloths. Ezra also laid out the Dice Face Cards for us, and the card backs for those and the Lords. Ezra has also done incredible work on the Normal Tarot 3rd edition, and had cards featured in the Alleyway Oracles and Alleyman's Tarot.
Amy Smith is the artist who redesigned the original set's dice symbols and then designed the final symbols used on all new dice. Amy is also the incredible artist behind the original edition of the Normal Tarot, and the silver foil version in the 2nd edition. Amy is also the artist behind the collages in the Hot Housewives Tarot.
Enoch Duncan is the artist who put together our 3d models for the Keys Set of dice, a huge boon for helping us to see the dice before they're actually manufactured. Enoch is also the artist behind the Misery Tarot.
Sam Dow was the artist behind the original Oracle Dice guidebook cover, and the upcoming Goblin's Tarot, which features a card you can see on the right of the original creation of the dice, with the Publishing Goblin sharing the dice with the Seasons Lords! Sam also designed the Mariner's Die, a die featured in the Seasons Set. https://samanthabdow.wixsite.com/samdowillustrations

Backing this project is a pledge of support to the project itself, it is not the purchasing of items. I will be doing everything I can to deliver all pledged items as part of fulfilling this project with your help, and have a track record of a dozen plus projects of doing so, but there is no 100% guarantee that you'll receive your items with crowdfunding. By pledging you are recognizing this and agreeing to it.
