This campaign will help fund the first production run and bring my design to life as a high-quality, huggable plushie.
Hello! My name is Cara Rae, also known as Raeny Days. I'm a freelance artist based in Fairmont, WV. This is my first BackerKit, but second crowdfunding! I attend many conventions and events when I can. I work hard to one day be able to continue my business and make it a full time gig (every artist's dream)! I love seeing my art bring others joy.
This project is to fund my CryptiCat design MothCat as a plushie! MothCat has been one of my most loved and cherished creations, and I can’t wait to bring it to life as a soft, huggable plush! Here is the most recent sample photo of the plush. We are almost finished with the final sample!

How Does BackerKit Work?
BackerKit is a preorder platform that helps creators make their projects a reality. Producing a high-quality plush can be costly, but your support makes it possible! By preordering through this campaign, you’ll be one of the very first to welcome MothCat home.
You won’t be charged until the campaign ends successfully. Once it’s funded, you’ll get a simple survey to confirm your address and choose your rewards.
The MothCat plush will be approximately 8 inches tall and made with super soft, huggable materials—perfect for cuddles and display alike!
Early Bird Preorders (placed before the campaign’s funding deadline) will receive a special discounted price on the plush. Once the BackerKit campaign ends, MothCat will be priced at $35.

How much is shipping? Shipping fees collected post-campaign in Pledge Manager! ♡ US: $10–15 depending on how many plushies you order. ♡ International: $20–30 depending on how many plushies you order.

♡ All orders will ship via USPS and include a tracking number (hence the costs).
I am not responsible for your order getting lost or damaged once it has been shipped with USPS. However, if you believe your shipment has been lost, please contact me and we’ll work out a solution! If you have proof that your plush was damaged, I can send you a replacement (if I have extras) — you’d just need to cover shipping costs.
How long does shipping take? ♡ US: 4–7 business days ♡ International: 7–15 business days
♡ I will be shipping all plushies myself, and since I can only package and send out so many in a day, I kindly ask for your patience. You’ll be notified when your plush ships.
♡ Production and shipping times may vary, so please allow time for both funding and manufacturing before I can ship your plush. This is my first time working with this plush manufacturer, so timelines are an estimate.
