Bloody Mary, Chupacabra, Tomoe Gozen, and Dracula are the semi-finalists in our "you pick the foil" bracket! The wild diversity in this group really highlights the strength of Unmatched. Where else would you find such a line up in head-to-head competition with each other?

To that end, we want to acknowledge what we've been hearing from some fans regarding the foils. In the Restoration style of foils (spot accent foiling) only two public domain heroes don't have a foil card: Robin Hood and Bigfoot. Through the bracket votes we know some of you were hoping one of those heroes would win and were really disappointed when Bigfoot was knocked out of the running. Well, as we head into the final days of the bracket - we wanted to let you know...
The promo pack will now include, guaranteed, one foil card for Robin Hood and one for Bigfoot.
(If Robin Hood wins the bracket, the runner up will get a new foil card along with Robin Hood and Bigfoot.)
And yes, you'll be able to purchase additional promo packs in the pledge manager.
Switching gears - we wanted to show you the Hero Stand in action a bit more. This quick video shows the PROTOTYPE stand in use. While the design is being refined, this shows our goal with the stand. It should hold up to any normal use case scenarios with some jostling etc.
So far almost 1400 folks are here supporting this project. Unmatched fans are truly awesome.

We're seeing some questions about shipping. And hey - we understand. It can be a bit of mathing to figure out the most cost efficient way to pledge.

To summarize... The First Timer and New Hotness pledge tiers do offer a bit of extra discount. You get a few dollars off the already reduced BackerKit prices AND you get a nice deal on shipping. If you do not add anything else to the pledges, you only pay the base shipping fee. It's a special pricing deal for the pledge tier. These are not "bundles" and you cannot double up on them etc. If you want more items beyond what's in the pledge tier, you will need to add them on per the regular check out and you'll incur the incremental shipping for those items.
So for a Continental US backer - here's what it would look like if you pledged for individual items vs using the First Timer reward tier.
