It's been really cool watching everyone's projects fund today! I already submitted things to my pin manufacturer so when they get a chance to work on the proofs, they will be ready for payment and starting the process. Ideally I would get these by the end of April/early May.

Custom pins will start a little later given that they have to be worked on and then submitted but I am so excited to work on your kitties!

I have seen some really fun requests and I will definitely keep them in mind for future projects! ^_^

I was going to order the stickers this week, but I think I will place the order Monday. I want to edit some of the lineart a little more (idk why the cats are giving me the biggest headache lol).

Since this is the time of year I can really work on some art before convention season starts and before my daughter's summer break, do you all have any food dragon or cat requests? You can also make them in Discord, but those may get spammed up so I may forget.

I will not be including them in this project since it's already in progress, but I will gladly sketch them out for a future project.  

I have also thrown up preorders on my site for these for later in case anyone wanted to back this but couldn't just due to the sheer quantity of projects running at once. The pins from the last Pintopia should all finally be listed by the end of February once the dragon corgi pins arrive. 

My favorites from the last Pintopia are these two. Maybe because I ran WoW discord for so long, they are heavily inspired from that + D&D stuff. I still have the other two covenants to redraw but I promised in 2020 I'd make these all into pins eventually, so I am. Slowly.

I will be ordering the stickers this week (if not today) for this project. This should allow for local pickup at AMKE & Anime Detour for those at least.

I wanted to make an update that says hey tomorrow is the launch day!

I think people will be happier not having to stress out about the design they want being unlocked or not.

If you want a black sushi cat, you will need to back my collab partner's project - Purrfect Eats! Last year I was partnered with Lizbie Cafe but this year I am paired with Wisparia. She's a local artist in Minnesota who is originally from Washington!

While she does have some non-cat items, she's definitely known for her adorable kitties! Please check her out! She's way more talented than a few small images can really show!

If you want a custom cat I decided it will be 20 pins for $200 (since they are smaller). I will not work on the designs until the campaign finishes. I learned my lesson from last time having to front costs for pins that never actually got paid for just because I let people select them. :D

These pins will be available for purchase AFTER they are produced though. Don't pick this pledge level if you don't want anyone buying your cat.

That should cover everything! I look forward to mailing my last 2024 Pintopia pin in February (the custom that was never paid for but I already promised to make).

Oh and I have new restrictions:

- I won't custom it to be a meme cat
- I won't custom a famous pet that died (this was a request last time)

It can be a generic cat breed, it can be your pet, etc. Just know I can get in trouble for making certain things without permission. Anyways, sorry for all the rules! I had to learn from last Pintopia so lol these are my requests. 

If you're an artist and want to resell these and require a backstamp of your brand on the back as a sort of collab option, find me on Discord under Sieara please. Better to chat and work something out that way.

I was working on Anime Fusion stuff last night since they kept pinging asking where we were on our art (the con is in like October 2025 so we have time lol). I doodled a thing for them but then I was like if I am gonna do art for free I'm gonna redraw it for myself too each time.

Of course now I wanna make little chibi dragon pins. Maybe future me problems. I'll see how many spot arts I make for them. :D

Probably not really worth an update but who knows. Maybe if this project funds way more than I expect I will have to figure something out. Although I will say, he'd make a super cute sitting plush in this pose!

I'll have to keep it in mind for this summer if so. I wanna get caught up on the existing plush revisions first. <3 

For those who want custom cat edits, how many pins of your kitties are you wanting? I have to order a certain quantity of each design regardless, but I want to make sure you don't feel like you're being forced to take like 50 pins or something.

I think with the corgi custom edits I did 15 of each for $200 + I did give people stickers of their doggos even though that wasn't part of what I said I'd deliver. It was kinda like a bonus haha. Don't assume you'll get custom stickers of your pet but also don't assume you won't. It'll depend on if I have any money at all after all these plush I am covering extra costs on. :D

Either way, please let me know what you're thinking. This project launches pretty soon and I want to make sure I can offer what you're after. 

I also regret not drawing up a S'mores kitty where it's a melting cat or something. Maybe I still will later but for now I just want to see where we end up before I overdo any stretch goals. Look at me learning from my last Backerkit. :D
