🎉 What We Made Together

Collaboration makes everything more fun.

Edit

For those unfamiliar with me, I am Alesia Gitter, the owner and designer at Robot Dragon Studios (Est 2019) in Minnesota, USA. I own two corgis, S'mores & Chip. My husband and daughter help me with various things from time to time as needed. Everything from packing orders to helping me out at conventions. = )

Buster & Murphy are my company's mascots. Originally in 2018 I worked on writing children's books for a project, but it got tossed to the backburner since it's very time consuming to illustrate. Buster and Murphy were developed at that point with the intentions of having a diverse cast of characters from different backgrounds with their dogs as their connection.

Fast forward, I still haven't worked on the book again, but have developed several products around them.

Buster is based on a red pembroke, the typical white and orangeish-brown coloration you typically see on most corgi products.

Murphy is based on a tricolor corgi. Typically they call them burnt toast corgis as a joke, but tricolors are one of my favorites. I love tricolors with tails, so he became my undefined "is it a pembroke or a cardigan" corgi that falls into both but also neither category. When I designed him I forgot the white tip, known as shepherd's lantern, on his tail.

Fun fact: My first corgi was actually a tricolor pembroke with a tail (S'mores) and my second corgi was a rescued red pembroke that was docked (Chip). I basically ended up with my own Buster and Murphy in reverse order!

The Buster Frankencorgi concept was designed in either 2021 or 2022 for a Halloween enamel pin project. I really love the design (and the color green), so it only made sense to bring him back as a fun Halloween/Monster themed plush.

Thank you for all the support and I hope we can get this produced!

Pantones are based off the sticker/plush colors, so if you have that, just know that is the general idea of what it should look like. There will also be a new glitter version because honestly, I'm a glitter girlie.

I started samples of these but with CNY around the same time as Pintopia, these will absolutely not be ready just yet.

Here is a quick glance for anyone just scrolling so it's easy to see all the choices available to you!
Edit

Halloween is Buster's favorite time of year. It's a celebration focused around the collecting of treats, so how could he not want to participate? He enjoys being painted up or wearing costumes to be rewarded with the goodies. His Frankenstein monster costume is his most ambitious endeavor with many stitches and colors patched across both sides of his body, alternating in shades of green. Buster's small, potato-like shape and a nubbin for a tail; he is the perfect blend of adorable and eager, packed with personality in his tiny keychain form!

A larger Buster Frankencorgi for those of us who absolutely can't do without a more huggable version. This is a prototype and some details will be more fine tuned in the final version.

Back both projects between now and the end of Pintopia and earn free rewards from both projects!

This year my partner is Raden Studios, which is run by another local Minnesota artist. She's such an incredible artist both digitally and traditionally. I actually found her at a local pop up and purchased a corgi bookmark (because of course I would haha).

I also joined a fun banner group since Pintopia was trying out something new this year. It's a group with a bunch of similarly themed projects. Mine is under Lore & Myth and my goodness, there are so many good projects there! Definitely check them out!

Edit

These are estimates since shipping can increase between the start of a project and the conclusion. Shipping is charged later. I use pirate ship simple export to try and keep shipping costs for international orders down.

You are responsible for any import fees though, so please keep that in mind. Thank you!

THIS TIMELINE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. DELAYS & PRODUCTION ISSUES COULD POTENTIALLY INCREASE THIS WITHOUT WARNING.

THIS IS SIMPLY AN ESTIMATE.

While I randomly update my website and socials, for more accurate up to date information about what projects I am working on, where preorders are (or will open), and just for a more personal social experience - Discord and Facebook (group not page) are the places to be!

Edit

I'm a Minnesota artist so of course I want to highlight my fellow artists in our state! These are creators I know well as well as a few I've only met at conventions. Either way please support them!

Edit

So Pintopia has been exciting and stressful for most if not all of us! I have to admit I do not have enough money to back all the projects I love and I know a few of you will look at my campaign and feel like "yeah not into corgis atm" so I am here to share projects I love with you! Some of these creators I have purchased from in person, some from Backerkit or Kickstarter and some just from their online shops!

These projects are in no particular order and I'm going to comment on them about the designs I love so you can skip that if you want and just click through to the links. I won't mind.

PS I can't add every single person I would like either, so please flip through all the amazing creators in Pintopia 2026 as well! You never know what you'll come across that you'll find yourself obsessed with!
