Project Update: An Update about me and the Physical Book.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to give you a full update on where things stand with the project. It’s been a while since the launch, and I owe you all some honesty about what’s been going on behind the scenes.
First, the bad news: I lost the original book files due to a computer failure. This means rebuilding and creating a true 2.0 version is going to take much longer than I initially planned. It’s frustrating, and I’m sorry for the delay.
On top of that, I’ve been in a tough financial spot since the launch. I’ve prioritized paying my collaborators first, which has left me with very little to work with. Right now, I’m barely keeping up with my own expenses, including rent, and that’s forced me to put most of my creative work on hold.
I recently started a new job, which should help stabilize my situation over the coming year. My goal is to use that stability to fund the project properly and deliver the updated version you’ve been waiting for. If things stay tight, I’ll make sure everyone who’s been patiently waiting gets at least the current PDF version of the book as soon as I can afford to send it out.
I know this isn’t the update any of us wanted, but I’m doing my best to navigate this responsibly. I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep, so I’m focusing on getting back on my feet first.
In the meantime, I’ll keep you updated as things progress. Transparency is important to me, even when the news isn’t great.
