21.The World This is the moment before waking. The end is in sight. The path is clear. All Alice has to do is let go and move forward. But Wonderland doesn’t give up its dreamers easily.
As she stands at the threshold of transformation, the truth begins to burn at the edges of her awareness: "I'm dreaming—and I can leave whenever I wish."
The open door is real. But so are the hands reaching from the walls. They are the parts of her story—the fears, the fantasies, the identities—that don’t want her to go.
This version of The World is the Moment of Choosing. The knowing. The readiness. The ache of separation. It’s the understanding that completion means departure, and that even that which we loved, once outgrown, can become a prison. Not because they are bad or evil, but because they are comfortable and familiar.
The door is open. But YOU must be the one to walk through it.
