I edit every episode to take out all the boring bits so you don't have to listen to them. It takes a full workday away from playing RPGs and spending time with my loved ones to make each episode of Dice Exploder. Plus I manage a community Discord. I love doing all this, it's worth it, but it takes time I don't always have. Plus, I'd like to be paying my cohosts. This is not a show where people come on primarily to plug their games (not that there's anything wrong with such shows; I listen to and love several of them), and I could not make this without their time and expertise. I want to compensate them just as much as I'd like to be compensated. Let me be real: I will just keep making this show even if I don't reach my funding goal here. You got me. But I think we'd all be happier if I was taking time away from my day job instead of my stretched-thin personal life to do it. If I raise this money, I'll be able to bring you another season quickly rather than having to wait months while I spend time looking for freelance work.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
