I'm excited to share that production for the game has officially started! It's fantastic to see everything moving forward. If all goes as planned, we expect production to be completed by the end of this month.

Because of this, we will be locking all addresses soon (beginning of next week) to prepare for shipping. This is your last chance to update your address. Please log into your survey and make any necessary changes now to ensure your game is shipped to the correct location.

If everything continues to run smoothly, we are hopeful that we'll be able to begin shipping your rewards next month.

Hello everybody,

This is a quick update to let you know that things are all moving forward! I will be locking orders, and consequently locking addresses and payment details, at the end of this week.

There are still a few of you who have not completed your survey, and a few others who have provided your address but have not yet updated your payment details.

I'd like to remind anyone who has not updated their payment details that it may look like you have completed your survey, but there might be one final step you have not confirmed.

Once we lock in orders, I will have to place the final manufacturing order, and I'm unsure of what can be changed after this point. If you do not have your order locked in by this time, your order may be unable to be fulfilled, so please make sure you take a second to double-check!

I want to make sure everyone who backed gets their rewards, and I'm happy to help if you have any questions.

In other news, I'd like to ask for your opinion on which of these two images you feel is clearer. Please take a look and let me know which you prefer!

These images relate to a "reveal" mechanic, where a card's effect activates whenever it is revealed. Please let me know which one looks more obvious as to when the reveal effect would activate, or which is simply more aesthetically pleasing.

Seeing all the components together, from the beautiful Ukraine cards to the core plants and all the exclusive extras, has been a truly fantastic experience. Your support has helped us create a game that looks and feels exactly as we'd hoped, and I'm confident you'll be just as happy with it.

Things are moving forward smoothly, and we are in a great position with our manufacturer. This means we are getting ready to begin the full-scale manufacturing and fulfillment process.

First off, a huge thank you to everyone who has already completed their surveys. It's been great to see so many responses coming in, and we're just waiting on the last few so we can push forward with manufacturing. If you haven't filled yours out yet, please do so as soon as you can!

Artwork & Color Grading Update

I wanted to give you a heads-up on something that's caused a small, unexpected delay. I've been deep into the manufacturing process and learned a lot about color grading and how printed colors translate. As a result, I've had to rework a significant portion of the artwork and adjust the color schemes to ensure everything looks fantastic when it's printed. This was a necessary step to maintain the quality and "vibe" of the game, and I'm happy to report that it's more or less done now.

Rulebook & Website Additions

We're also in the final stages of finishing up the rulebook and getting it ready for test samples. My goal is to get it to a state I'm truly happy with before it goes to print.

Additionally, I've decided to add some specific interaction rules to our website. These won't be in the physical rulebook as they're more "deep cut" ways of playing that aren't necessary for general gameplay, but they do require clear rulings as they've come up a few times during testing. We'll be updating this section periodically, so if you have any questions once you receive the game, you'll be able to find answers there. We'll also include a QR code in the game to link directly to this page once it's finalized.

Shipping Costs to the USA

A few of you have reached out regarding the shipping costs to America, noting they seem a bit high. I wanted to address this directly. The main reason for this is due to tariffs being applied from China and additional charges from shipping companies for production. Since we're not shipping a huge volume of items, I haven't been able to secure any bulk discounts. These additional costs have been covered by a number of things, mainly from individual buyers, but also from my own pocket and some leftover funds.

Being based in Australia, high shipping costs are quite normal for us, so I initially didn't think too much of it. However, your feedback has brought to my attention that this isn't as common in the U.S., so I wanted to provide this explanation.

Design Your Own Card & New Art

Good news for the backer who pledged for the "design your own card" tier! I've been in contact with them, and we've started working on the design for their new card. This backer has opted to have their card added to the retail copies of the game, which means one of our current retail cards will become a campaign exclusive. I'm not sure which card that will be just yet, but I'll definitely keep you updated as the design progresses and we get a clearer idea. You'll also get some sneak peeks of the new artwork and quantities soon!

Speaking of artwork, we're just waiting on a few final drafts for the remaining pieces, including the Skeleton Flower, the winner of our recent poll. I've been busy working on those designs too.

Overall, things are moving forward smoothly, just a bit slower than anticipated!
