Project Update: Playbook Features: Sorrows
Sorrows are a feature of Magestar's playbooks that I haven't yet discussed. Each playbook must activate a sorrow after making a specific move: for example, the Wizard does so when making the Rest move.
Sorrows are descriptive features which enhance Magestar's roleplaying side more so than the mapmaking side. Each playbook's sorrows tie into that playbook's core themes. Our Wizard might activate the Arcane Mishap sorrow, and describe how someone was harmed by their latest arcane experiment. Meanwhile the Seer's Future Grief sorrow lets their player describe a vision of an ally's death.
