This is just a quick update to let you all know that all surveys have now been sent. If you had issues with your pledge payment previously, you are able to pay through the survey so you can still snag all of your pledge items!

For all backers who filled out their surveys already (thank you!) digital rewards have been delivered. You'll get a email from BackerKit with the links to download all of your goodies!

In order to get add-ons ordered, surveys for those who did not use a payment plan are due by November 1. I believe we only have a handful who have payment plans. You'll get access to your surveys once you've made your last payment.

I received confirmation last week that the printer received the signed tip-in pages for the hardcovers and they're hard at work getting the order printed. I expect the books should be ready to ship sometime in mid-to-late November.

I just wanted to let folks know that I've initiated the smoke test surveys. This means that BackerKit sends out 10% of the surveys for each tier to make sure that everything on the backend is running smoothly.

Once we've worked through this, I'll send out the rest of the surveys.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly two weeks since the Captivity campaign wrapped up!

We are hard at work behind the scenes getting things moving. The print run has been ordered and most of the swag has either arrived or is on its way to me. It's all very exciting as we start to get everything prepped to head out your way post-holidays!

Because of all of you, we had a successfully funded campaign! I will admit, it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster these last 21 days but I am so grateful to have so many of you with us.

So what happens next?

Over the next few days, BackerKit will begin charging your card for the amount pledged. If you were one of the few folks who chose the pay over time method, you'll make your first payment as well. We'll work with anyone whose pledge errors until it gets fixed. I'm committed to you all getting your books and pins!

Once the majority of the funs have been collected and sent to me, I will open up surveys. These will allow you to answer some questions so that I can be sure I'm getting you everything you need. If you chose the pay over time option, you won't get your survey until you've paid in full.

You will also have another opportunity to purchase add-ons during the survey. And I've added a few things that weren't available during the campaign so do be sure to check them out. There's digital and physical items that I hope might interest you.

We didn't quite hit high enough to unlock Celestial Tales for everyone, but I wanted to make a special offer. If we can raise enough through survey add-ons to get us past $6,000 before November 1, 2024, then I will add that to everyone's pledge!

Given hat the books will be coming from overseas, they aren't due to arrive until towards the end of the year. Because of that, we won't be ready to ship until the new year and since postage rates fluctuate, especially around the holiday time, it made sense to wait to charge shipping until we have a firmer sense of what it will be.

All of that to say that everyone who pledged to a physical tier, you will see a note on your survey that shipping will be charged later. I will likely be charging shipping in January 2025.  I will of course post an update before those charges are assessed so you are ready for them.

For now, I am going to rest and get my ducks in order behind the scenes so that you all get your books and can dive into this fantastical world.
