GLIDE: Part Two is a solo (and cooperative) sci-fi tabletop RPG adventure game inspired by Dune. Players travel across the world of Eridoor, exploring, delving, and making connections with other inhabitants, shaping a personal story.
GLIDE: Part Two is a standalone game that expands the world of Eridoor into a deeper, stranger, and more personal journey across the sands. The core GLIDE rule book is not required to play!
GLIDE is a solo-first (and co-op friendly) sci-fi tabletop RPG about exploration, survival, and quiet heroism in a dying world slowly reclaiming itself. You are a Seeker - an explorer skimming across endless deserts, forgotten ruins, and fragile settlements aboard a wind-driven craft that is as much home as it is lifeline. Part Two builds on the original game with refined mechanics, richer world systems, and dozens of new tools designed to create emergent stories without a game master.
This new core book introduces expanded exploration through hex-based travel, meaningful settlements filled with dynamic encounters, and a robust Odd-Job system that lets you take on small, human-scale work to earn Credits, Supplies, and reputation. Your choices shape the world: help a struggling outpost, exploit a ruin for scrap, or chase rare discoveries that bring both wonder and dread. Every journey risks wear on your gear, exhaustion of your body, and hard decisions about what to carry forward.
GLIDE: Part Two deepens character play with clearer stats, Backgrounds, and progression tied to Fame, the measure of how far your legend spreads across Eridoor. Bonds and Guild Progress track your relationships with factions and institutions, opening doors to new opportunities or dangerous complications. Intel becomes a key currency, representing hard-earned knowledge that can be spent to gain advantages, unlock settlement actions, or avoid catastrophe when the winds turn against you.
Designed to be played with minimal prep and no GM, GLIDE: Part Two uses elegant tables, nested challenges, and evocative prompts to create stories that feel authored yet surprising. Whether you’re charting unclaimed dunes, delving into unique locations that function as miniature dungeons, or simply trying to make it to the next settlement before your Stamina is on empty, GLIDE is about the journey and deciding when it’s finally time to retire and let your story end.
If you love solo RPGs, emergent storytelling, and science-fantasy worlds shaped by slow growth, mystery, and fragile hope, GLIDE: Part Two invites you to take to the skies once more.
GLIDE: Part Two will feature a collection of new artwork from Evlyn Moreau! The funding for this project is to cover art expenses and to help cover my time writing, editing, and laying-out the project.
Shipping costs will be finalized after the final book has passed inspection. Estimated costs are as follows (in US $):
Canada: $8
United States: $6
United Kingdom/Europe: $12
Australia/New Zealand: $15
Rest-of-world: $20
Fulfillment is done through print-on-demand services offered with DriveThruRPG. Print runs are very expensive to do in Canada (where I live), so print-on-demand has become my go-to option for all projects.
