Hi there! I’m Savage-Mojo, an avid paleoart enthusiast and shark lover. I’ve been wanting to create something cute based on sharks for a while, and this idea finally came to mind.
This is my third crowdfunding campaign, but my first two campaigns were successfully funded and featured plush backpacks and pterosaur plushies (along with keychains and enamel pins).
This new campaign will focus on a pack of adorable shark puppy plush keychains. but will feature ultra-soft polar blanket and 2 unlockable weighted plushies
*NOTE: Due to complicated customs procedures and high import taxes, The sharkpup will not get shipped to the following countries: India, Singapore, Philippines, South-Africa, Guatemala, Turkey, Indonesia and Brazil
After the delays and hiccups in my last campaign, I’m doing things a bit differently this time to make sure we stay on track! Every time a stretch goal is unlocked, I’ll order the prototype right away so nothing slows us down. And I’ll send the survey as fast as I can. no waiting around, promise!
At the beginning, I was completely alone for my first two campaigns. It was honestly very hard to handle everything by myself. That’s why Tato (Yours spudly) is now working with me full-time.
He mainly takes care of social media and communications. If you backed the Paleopack, you’ve probably already seen Tato replying to questions and interacting on posts!
About Me : Mojo
I’ve been an online artist since 2014 (even earlier, technically!).
From 2012 to 2015, I studied 3D animation, but I quickly realized it wasn’t what I truly wanted to pursue. So I went back to school to study 2D animation instead. After graduating, I was still searching for my artistic way and felt a bit lost for a while. I decided to fully embrace my lifelong passion: paleoart.
I started attending conventions as vendor … and then COVID hit :’) but it never stopped me.
Today, I run my own small business as Savage-Mojo, creating prints, stickers, keychains, and lanyards. Now, I’m incredibly excited to expand even more with my plushie projects.
Tato is my best friend. We met in 2015 when I started 2D animation classes. In 2017, we decided to become roommates, and since then we’ve always supported each other and moved forward together.
He’s the bubbly, social one ( the complete opposite of my anxious, introverted me )
He’s also an artist with a beautiful art style, more focused on mature and humanoid art. His traditional artwork is absolutely stunning.
If you see us at conventions, there’s a high chance you’ll see him before you see me… I’m probably hiding behind him, haha.
Backerkit is a Pledge Now, Pay Later system. You will only be charged at the end of the project.
My Main goal is to raise $2,500 CAD, so I will be able to get the first Shark pup. This amount will cover the cost of the prototype, minimum 100 plushies for each design , the import fees from the manufacturer country and the safety testing! Each additional Unlocked goal will cover the others backpacks production expenses.
1) Create an Account
Create an account . Doing so helps you stay up to date with campaign updates and allow you to participate in other interactive posts such as polls, discussions, etc.
2) Select a Pledge Level
Choose the pledge your wants.
3) Include Add-ons
Do you want another plush or more stuffs ? Take a look at the add-ons! After you selected your pledge, add-ons allow you to get additional items.
4) Check out
Once you check out, you will need to wait until the end of the campaign! Once the campaign is over, an email will be sent to you .It will include the incoming survey that will let you input your final options! If the last two stretchgoals are unlocked the weighted plushies add ons , will be added
5) Manage Your Pledge
After the campaign ends, a survey will be sent to your email. Through the survey you will be able to choose the plush you want and the others goodies. As a reminder, you will not be charged for your pledge, add-ons, or shipping until after the campaign! If you want to add more or remove something from your order, you will be able to do so via Backerkit until orders are locked.
Why should I pledge to the Fur & Fins Friend plush keychain ?
I’m not the only one who benefits from a successful campaign ,you do too! By pledging to this campaign and funding this project, you help me bring the little shark pups to life and you get a new friend !
All picks will be made after the end of the campaign. Then you will receive a BackerKit survey via email where you can select the Plush of your choice! So long as it gets unlocked during the campaign, of course.
How does add-ons work?
Once you select a pledge from the tier of your choice, you will be taken to the ‘add-on’ section where you can pick and choose any extra goodie you want on top of your pledge!
What happens if the Fur & Fins Friend doesn’t get funded?
Sadly the plushies will not be produced.
What if the project gets funded, but not all goals are met?
If one of several tiers remain locked by the end of the campaign, then only the plushies that have been unlocked will be available for purchase.
Can I get a refund?
As sad as it is to hear that, you may request a refund for as long as Fur & Fins Friend crowdfunding is active. You won’t be able to get a refund after the campaign closes.
The funds you help me raise is used for the production of the plushies. *Please do not pledge if you are not in the financial situation to do so.
Will the plushies be shipped internationally?
That’s the plan, yes! Everyone deserves a pup, and I will do everything in my power to ensure you get you new cuddling friend ! Unfortunately, due to complicated customs procedures and high import taxes, theFur & Fins Friend plush will not get shipped to the following countries: India, Singapore, Philippines, South-Africa, Guatemala, Turkey, and Indonesia Brazil
Is shipping included in the pledge?
Sadly, no. Shipping and its associated fees are going to be calculated after the end of the campaign. *Shipment fees & customs may vary.
