We are live! I’m excited, but at the same time a little nervous, because this is kind of an experimental project for me. It’s something new: a new aesthetic that I’ve never tried before. But after seeing so many cool and nostalgic Frutiger Aero posts all over the internet, I thought it would be fun to try designing something in this style.
Choosing Frutiger Aero as the bag’s theme is not a coincidence! I remember it from my childhood. I used to have so-called “blobjects”: electronic items with colorful, transparent plastic covers or details. I also had home décor with dolphins and water motifs, and I used the famous ocean soap (that one fascinated me the most - I was always wondering what was inside and how that 3D scene was made).
Here's an update on the Soap Carry Case - the printing is almost finished & I really like how it turned out so far. I hope you do too.
Another reason I designed this bag is that over the past few months my audience on social media has grown, and many new people have joined to follow my designer journey. I noticed that all of you belong to different fandoms and love different aesthetics. That gave me the idea to create bags and accessories for different fandoms as well, and the most natural way to do that is by choosing a different theme each month.
It’s awesome, because I don’t have to worry about my feed looking random anymore. I can stick to a chosen aesthetic, post related content, tell different stories, and still include things that I truly love (LPS!).
