An ita-bag is a style of bag purpose built to securely display a collection of buttons, charms, and enamel pins. An ita-bag, or 'painful bag', is a bag that has been so heavily decorated as to be almost unrecognizable as a bag. Fashion and item collecting are both important methods of self expression, and the two marry beautifully in the concept of an ita-bag. Every bag ends up as unique as the individual who assembled it.
The Trailblazer Special is a massive backpack style bag with extra special features to keep all of your technology safe while you're following the path of the Nameless across the universe. With a sturdy strap across the chest to support the weight, this bag is big enough to hold a 17 inch laptop in a special pocket just for that purpose, along with everything else you may need for your day.
There are two technology pockets, one for your laptop up to 17" and one for most sizes of tablet.

A 17' laptop, a 12.9" iPad with a huge cover, a switch, a mouse, a phone, wallet, keys, medication, airpods, powerbanks, charging cables, pencils, a small photo printer, and TWO different notebooks. Plus plenty more space.
There are several D-rings on the strap to hang charms or keychains and a small zippered pocket that's great for putting cash, coins, earbuds, or anything else small you may need at hand. As with most of my bags, there is, a swappable liner system based on Type, and now a small front pocket that holds an acrylic coin based on the Path you choose making the Trailblazer Special a bag of infinite possibilities no matter who you keep as your companion.
With all of the function, design wasn't forgotten. The bag is rich with embroidery meant to invoke the Astral Express itself, as well as the Trailblazer on the handle and the front of the train on the padded back as a fun little secret you can share any time you set it down.

After successful funding of the Trailblazer Special bag, production is poised to being immediately. We anticipate being able to deliver final products to your doorstop sometime in February 2026. Packages will ship from Cincinnati, Ohio.
After the campaign ends, we will be utilizing BackerKit's Pledge Manager function to more accurately calculate shipping charges and to permit backers one last opportunity to pick up additional items at the discounted prices! Here is a chart estimating global shipping charges based on current pricing, however this may fluctuate:
Refunds: Refunds will not be processed. Please contact BackerKit if you have any problems with your pledge. UK pledges will not be accepted.
Quality/Manufacturer Challenges: When creating ita bags, there are issues that can come up even when using trusted manufacturers: factory delays, bad batches that need replacement, etc. We will do our best to resolve all the problems quickly and keep you guys updated on any delays.
Manufacturing & Holidays: Manufacturing has a chance of being delayed due to holidays.
Shipping Challenges: Please ensure your address is correct. We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses. We are also not responsible for any shipping carrier delays.
International Shipping Challenges: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS OR TARIFFS INCURRED BY YOUR SHIPPING COUNTRY, WE COMPLY/REPORT PER THE LAW. We will NOT mark orders as a gift or mark down the value of your package.
Orders returned to sender can be reshipped, but you must repay the shipping costs. If shipping costs are not repaid, we will consider the package abandoned. A refund will NOT be issued in this case.
