News and Stretch Goal #1
Exciting news! I will be doing my first livestream ever with some other creators that are part of the Printopia event on BackerKit. Join us Thursday, 2-4pm Eastern. The roundtable is hosted by Laura VanArendonk Baugh on YouTube, and that link will take you right to the stream when it's live. You can also check out the main page of my BackerKit campaign and click on the stream links in the upper right to save it to your Google, Apple, or other calendar.
We are closing in on the first Stretch Goal: $2,000 - Quest for an Editor. This is a huge milestone. It will allow me to hire a freelance editor to put the final polish on the book. Trust me when I say, an editor will make this book better for everyone. We are so close to the goal! Just a few more supporters would be amazing.

Finally, an update on the Side Quest - The Hardback Heist, 30 of the 100 limited edition hardbacks are gone! These super fancy versions of the book will come numbered, signed, and packaged in a box full of goodies by me. If the entire 100 sell out, I'll be throwing in a super secret surprise into all the boxes!

Funded in less than 12 hours! WHAT?
Hey folks,
I'm a writer, and I have no words for the gift you have given me. This first book has been so long in the making. 15-ish years ago, I sold my first Feni and Raf story. At the time, it was my first paid sale. It's surreal to even be writing this right now.
Somehow, you made this happen on day 1. Not even 12 hours have passed since the campaign launched, and it's funded. Now I'm looking at stretch goals I really didn't think were possible. You are all amazing, and I am so incredibly grateful.
Some of you aren't family or friends; you're complete strangers who think my book sounds cool. My hope is that you'll read it and love it so much that we become friends. Your support means the world to me.
And to those of you who are known to me (hi, Mom), who have supported and loved me all this time, I wouldn't be here without you.

Welcome to Day 1 of Between Thieves: Tales of Steam & Sorcery!
Welcome to Day 1 of Between Thieves: Tales of Steam & Sorcery!
The campaign is officially open for business. To everyone who followed during the pre-launch phase: thank you for jumping in before the start. Your Day-1 backing sets the pace for the entire campaign. We're only a few hours into the launch, and we're 40% funded. I can't tell you how much your support means to me. I'm completely stunned just typing this.
If you haven't already, here's how you can help:
- Secure your pledge: Check out the available rewards and exclusive add-ons. In addition to ebooks and print, for the writers out there, I'm offering a discount on my normal Manuscript Evaluation editing service.
