Hope you're all doing well! Time for another project update, and I've got some news to share. 

So here's the thing – I was really hoping to tell you that Steve Rude's How to Draw book was completely finished by today. But you know Steve... he went and added 20 MORE pages to it! We're now sitting at over 120 pages of pure drawing goodness. I mean, I can't really complain when the guy wants to give you even more content, right? 

Everything Else is Moving Along Nicely 

The good news is that everything else for the project has been ordered and should be arriving at our place soon. That includes the How to Draw the Animated Nexus book too. Fair warning though – we didn't have the budget for a massive print run, so these are probably going to sell out pretty quickly once they're available. 

 

 

Shipping Update – We're Getting Our Ducks in a Row 

 Today we charged everyone for shipping, which gives us the green light to order all our shipping supplies and boxes. We've even enlisted a local teenager to help us assemble and put stickers on 500 boxes – they're pretty excited about their first "real job"!
 

PDF Release Coming Up 

Once your shipping payment clears, we'll be releasing the PDFs (well, except for the new How to Draw book since Steve's still adding those extra pages).   Watch your email for that link.

Quick Reminder About Exit Surveys 

Huge thanks to the 98% of you who've already completed your exit survey – you rock! For those who haven't yet, we've been sending daily reminder emails. If we didn't hear back by today, we set the shipping address as ComicBooks for Troops.   It allowed us to confirm the items in the orders, and they still have until September  if they want to complete your survey. Honestly, that feels like a win-win situation.
