Earth Rising: A game born from hope in what felt like a hopeless time
Everything changed for Laurie after watching the 2040 documentary by Damon Gameau, Australian actor and activist. His message was a simple one: I have a child, and the outlook is bleak, and I worry first and foremost for her future. Is there anything we can do to change her future? The answer was YES.
Laurie delved deep into designing Earth Rising as a hopeful game, a game where players take back control of our failing and unsustainable systems and work together to create ecological harmony. Based on the Doughnut Economics system by Kate Raworth,
100% sustainably produced
Earth Rising was manufacturered by HeroTime in 2022, they were the leading manufacturer in sustainability at the time and one of the only ones willing to share our vision for a fully sustainably produced game. The game also comes with a self-assembled punchboard insert. The only plastic you will find on the game is the film wrap around the box, and even this is recyclable! We believe in practicing what you preach.

Colouring Pages: Nothing! Pure digital delivery at no cost! Shipping will be charged after the campaign via BackerKit and these numbers may change. Shipping is VAT Free in all listed areas other than Rest of World.
Fulfilment Timeline: Since all products are already manufactured, we guarantee that all items will be sent with plenty of time to arrive by December 20th! However, we've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes postal services go awry. All shipments will be tracked, and we'll provide tracking numbers to all sent items! This should at least provide peace of mind, or if something does go wrong, ample warning. If Backerkit cannot charge your card successfully for shipping for more than one week, we can no longer guarantee arrival by December 20th.
Refund Policy: There will be no real gap between the campaign ending and the products shipping out. In order to provide our fulfilment partners with correct information quickly enough to guarantee products arriving in time, we will not be able to provide refunds once the campaign ends.
