Got my copies!

I received my copies of "Into the Dark" and the other books I ordered (like A Strange Night at the Pint 'n' Pony," "101 City Encounters," and others. Everything arrived in great shape and looks fantastic! Love that new book smell! Excited to start reading through them. I did have an extra question though: I actually made a second order from the pre-order button for some other PDFs. I was wondering if I could get those on DTRPG as well? Thanks so much!

Thanks for the free gift Studio9!

Just the other day I received a surprise DTRPG email with a Midnight Legion title from Studio9. I had totally forgotten about the leaderboard "contest" so that was a nice and unexpected gift. I am aware that this project (and the global trade hiccups) has been a long and eventful journey, I'm looking forward to receive the printed books (though I have been known to be more of the patient type) and thank you once again for this gift! Looking forward to backing the upcoming projects in the fall!

Project Update: Printing, PDF, and Upcoming...

Printing

Despite production delays due to supply, we are getting the print edition of INTO THE DARK tomorrow! We already received the print edition of the ILLUMINATION PAD. So shipping will begin in JULY.

EXCLUSIVITY NOTE: INTO THE DARK will only be available through Studio 9 Games. Unless a store backed it and got editions, you will not see this adventure in stores.

PDFs

We sent out the PDFs for INTO THE DARK and all other products. Those are available in your BACKERKIT. In addition, due to requests, we sent PDFs for all backers to DTRPG for the INTO THE DARK. We cannot send the ILLUMINATION PAD to DTRPG as that is a BACKERKIT exclusive. However, we plan to also send all other purchased Studio 9 Games PDFs from previous works into the DTRPG system. 

Adventure Sequel: Riders on the Midnight Storm

We are launching our next adventure in the same setting as INTO THE DARK—this summer! This adventure is an overland sandbox style adventure which also takes place around the Earl's Castle. You can get a peek and updates here:

Project Update: PDFs, Print Edition, & State of the Creative Union

Hello Backers! Here are some updates:

PDFs

I was able to finalize the INTO THE DARK pdf which was put on BACKERKIT and DTRPG on the same day--which I thought that was very clever. However, BACKERKIT needed a 2 day lock BEFORE any PDFs could be delivered. So alas it was a little odd to see on DTRPG before you got your PDF in BACKERKIT. This was NOT an issue for the ILLUMINATION PAD (which is only on BACKERKIT, not on DTRPG)

PRINTING

The printing will be done by end of JUNE/early JULY. Shipping should start soon afterwards.

SPECIAL NOTE ON THE INDUSTRY

Things are moving relatively smoothly on this project—but nonetheless, it is a difficult time in the industry for publishers, gamemakers, and printers. My work, my world, and Studio 9 Games (which is more than this project) is quite challenged right now. I bring this up so you can find as much patience as possible for us and the other creators or projects you are backing. If things are slow, a bit awkward, or stained its because this creative process is happening through a VERY overwhelmed and overworked industry that just got harder to navigate and is shifting dramatically.

But we are a creative community, so this will all evolve into a higher level of resourcefulness and product!

ETA on PDF availability?

Hey folks, I received a "last call to update your shipping address" email for this project yesterday, which got me excited about getting the adventures shipped to me. And at the same time I was wondering: is there an ETA on the availability of the PDFs? I couldn't find them in my BackerKit account, nor do I remember seeing an email with DriveThruRPG vouchers or other stuff... Thanks!
