Our initial goal is to fund a collection of 6 incredible blind boxes, showcasing the core cast of the series in 2.5”-3.5” vinyl figures. These will come held within their own little plastic book shells, which our amazing art team is designing to really capture the essence of the characters. 

But wait, that's not where it ends...

When you factor in temporal tampering from across the multiverse, it's practically guaranteed there'll be some sort of cosmic craziness. Our blind boxes are no exception! Each of our base figures has at least three variants - though some will come with a super-super rare extra, perfectly suited to the character's personality or a much-loved episode.

Possession Variant (RARE): Bill Cipher is always watching... and in this variant, your figure will be possessed with an unsettling grin and glow-in-the-dark eyes, so he can watch you too. Think Bipper, Bable, Bendy and more...

Time Baby Variant (SUPER RARE): Travel through space and time with all manner of ghostly, translucent figures. Some will have the character's personality at their core, some will glitter in the cosmic dance of eternity, and some will just look pretty danged cool.

Buy Gold Variant (SUPER RARE): If Ford can be a golden statue/backscratcher, so can the rest of the cast - apparently. These super rare figures feature a polished golden finish, and are bound to add a spot of luster to your collection. As you'd expect, they're also very difficult to get your hands on!

The Bonus Variant (SUPER, SUPER RARE): These are figures of exception. Perhaps you'll get Tyrone, Dipper's hapless photocopied brethren, or Mabel in a fluffy pink jacket. Perhaps Soos in cosplay. You get the idea. These are the ultimate collectables in the Mystery Box range...and they danged well might be the coolest figures in the collection, too!

What do you get if you buy a set within the first 48 hours?! You get something adorable, maniacal, evil and with really big sneakers. We've three variants of Gravity Falls' cutest little demonic reprobate:

The Canon Variant: As seen in Bill Cipher's terrible tome! (EXCLUSIVE to the Base Set!)

The Time Baby Translucent Variant: Phasing in through centuries of spacetime, shiny and translucent! (EXCLUSIVE to the Variant Set!)

The Angry Variant: Furious, glaring, and bright red! (EXCLUSIVE to the Chaos Set!)

Our 1" bonus figure is EXCLUSIVE to this part of the campaign, with three colorways exclusive to their specific sets. Be careful, he bites with his weird, gloopy baby eye.

We don’t have a perfect pitch or polished mission statement. We just make toys and other odd knick knacks, because… well it brings us joy, and we hope it brings you a little grounding, too.

Studio Bad Egg started as a small experiment in making things that feel like home, especially for the misfits, the soft-hearted, and the quietly overwhelmed. Every piece we create is a little odd, a little tender, and a little reminder that you're allowed to take up space, exactly as you are.

We’ve run six mega-successful fan merch campaigns. We've dived into Amphibia, The Owl House, Steven Universe and, of course, a host of show-stopping Gravity Falls products, ranging from hulking great 8" figures of muscular Grunkles to the cutest little pin badges of evil triangular demons. Our most recent was the incredible BYEEE! campaign, which raised a whopping MILLION DOLLARS and is now in production!

Studio Bad Egg is where everyone, from every corner of the galaxy, can stop by and be exactly who they want to be, accompanied by their favorite worlds and characters. Come on in, kick your feet up, get a nice hot drink and make yourself at home.

For those of you who are new to Backerkit, this is an all-or-nothing crowdfunding platform for people to offer their support to a project that they are interested in. The funding is handled in a "pledge now, pay later" system, and offers a whole host of payment options to suit you.

Backers are only charged once the funding campaign is over AND the initial goal has been met. Until the funding campaign is over, backers can then upgrade, downgrade, or even cancel their pledge at any time. 

Additional information regarding the backer’s shipping address and chosen rewards are collected at the end of through surveys sent through BackerKit.

Timeline
We're currently working through big backlogs due to what will inevitably be called 'the year of the tariffs', and so are trying to give ourselves the biggest possible cushion to secure production times and high quality renders. As a result, we're not guaranteeing shipment until Q1 2027 - but will strive to be earlier if we can.

Unlike certain mass conglomerates, we don't have gigantic supply chains, and work one-on-one with our artists, renderers and manufacturers to get you a top quality product. We really want to make sure we get this - and our timelines - perfect!

Shipping to and from the USA has never been more complicated, and in the face of an almost consistently changing climate, we don't want to offer shipping fees at this stage of the campaign. All shipping costs will be calculated when you send in your Backerkit surveys, so PLEASE make sure you're allocating a good chunk of cash to get your figures over to you. This is so we can liaise with alternative shipping clients and our manufacturers to get you the most reliable and cost-effective result.

 

Backerkit is super flexible for payment. You won't have to pay for your pledge until the end of the campaign, and thanks to a bunch of super-smooth updates to the service, you can now make use of payment plans and installments. However, these are only available during the campaign!

Remember, once the campaign is over and you've been charged, we'll be whisking the money away to our manufacturers and art team. We aren't able to facilitate refunds, so make sure you're happy with your pledge!

Is there a pay in installments option?

Yes, we are using Backerkit's Pay Over Time feature! If your pledge is over $150, after you select a pledge and go to Checkout, you'll be given the option to pay 4 equal interest-free monthly installments of your pledge total over the course of 4 months.

It’s not always easy finding people who love the same weird, wonderful things you do but Gravity Falls fans are literally some of the kindest (and funniest) folks we’ve ever met. Other things to note:
We’ve been doing this for quite some time, but the world is constantly in flux, as is the nature of production and preorder. In particular, with the constantly changing political situation worldwide and a backlog amongst most of our suppliers, there’s always a risk of delays.

Sometimes, a toy may need modifying to be practical. Sometimes, they might even require a remodel. Some of these concepts also are still being polished up, so you might see the odd typo or inaccuracy between this and the final product, or something that needs adjusting to match the series. We're hard at work on this and rest assured our launch products will be all prettied up and ready to go - as well as series-accurate!
Keep in mind that all illustrations above are not the final look of the products, but they’re usually incredibly close! While we have some of the best artists, modelers and manufacturers out there on our team, we can never 100% guarantee that things will look exactly as illustrated.
With this in mind, we’ll always try to keep you updated with progress and any issues that might arise.

Production and manufacturing is a difficult process, and with your backing, you’re bringing some truly remarkable, never-before-seen designs to life - and translating art into a physical form, especially for a small business like ours, is expensive!

As a result, your pledge goes straight to manufacturing the moment Backerkit clears the funds. As a result, once the campaign is over, we cannot refund your pledge. This is as covered in the Backerkit terms of service and is something you agree to upon pledging.

As a result, we can’t emphasize this enough, if you need to cancel your pledge or change your mind, cancel it before the Backerkit ends!

We’d also recommend you to be super careful with your addresses. We’re not responsible for any products that go missing due to an incorrect address or stolen package. We can usually step in if a product arrives to you damaged or incorrect, but otherwise we don’t accept returns.
