Hi all!

We did it! The campaign is over and the project is funded! So, what's happening now?

Formatting of the Zine has begun. I'm finishing up rules and creative. If you're one of those who opted in to the $50 Make a Splash Tier, I'll be reaching out soon to coordinate your contribution to the book.

After that, we get some illustrations, pepper them into the book, and then we're good to send it all out!

You should be getting a survey through the BackerKit Pledge manager in the coming weeks which will have more details on payment processing and digital delivery.

Hey all!

Just a quick update that this is your last chance to hop in on the campaign if you haven't yet! Just $5 and most of it goes to real whale savers!

In the other update department, I've been playtesting more recently and already two more whales have been saved!

...and also...we've got an illustrator! I met with Nessa Kessinger this week and she'll be hopping aboard to draw us up some whales! You can check out her AMAZING work at her website, here: https://www.nessakdraws.com/. Did I love doodling the initial whales? Yes. Will her whales be much better? Yes. Are all of them worth saving? Yes.

Hello Whalers!

Just a quick update as we go into our final week. We're doubly funded! Thank you so much to those who have backed. 

Since you last heard from me, some things have happened:
1. Playtests! The rules are working as hoped, with some adjustments being made. I'm hoping to send some materials out to backers soon.
2. Artist! I'm meeting next week with a local Baltimore illustrator to beef up the art for the project. More on that soon!

As stated in the goals of the project, our hope here is to send most of the money to the UK Whale Disentanglement Team. I'm not taking a cut, but I will be paying our artist through the proceeds. If we can get to $1,000 by close, then we can get great art AND send a good amount of money to whale savers.

Please consider jumping on board or spreading the word to your friends! Even our $1 pledge level helps.

What's next from me?

I'm currently working on getting a crew of improvisers from Baltimore, MD to do an actual play of the game with me. Hopefully we can get it up while the campaign is running! Stay tuned!
