Hi pals! It's been a minute, but I wanted to share some updates! Firstly, I've been working on Cotton and Candy a little bit behind the scenes. To be honest, I haven't been satisfied with their turnout so far and am contemplating finding another manufacturer to make them. This would mean production for the two Cotton & Candy may be delayed by a few weeks at most, but it wouldn't affect the others! Either way, here's some update photos:
..and here's an edit I made for Cotton (The blue rat) To hopefully make the face feel a little less guinea pig But I'm still not super satisfied and after this round of edits, but I think I need to see them in person too. Let me know your thoughts! And please don't worry if you don't like them, I encourage everyone to wait til they're finalized, but you can always remove them. Just contact backerkit support!
PRODUCTION IS STARTING! The Sugarbell Pals (Non Sugarbeans) Are beginning to go into production. I'm having an abundance of plushies made, so please don't worry if you haven't filled out your survey yet, there will be more than enough for everyone to choose the pals they would like to receive. That's it for now! I'll make another announcement when preorders & surveys close, but for now that's estimated for late July-early August. <3
Hi friends! So happy to announce that surveys are officially rolling out! They will remain open for a little while, so don't worry if you're indecisive!
Pay in 4 friends: You will not receive your surveys until after the last payment is made. You will be able to fill the survey out after the last payment! ^_^
What's the current timeline? -Surveys will remain open while I receive the last few finalized plushies. - The bulk plushies will begin production by July 1st. - Bulk production will take 1-2 months, so will finalize by August-September. - Overseas shipping will take 1 month, so I should receive them by October to begin fulfillment. Please note I am still aiming to have everything finished by January. The timelines can change, so that estimate gives us a healthy amount of wiggle room!! So Ube's outfit has little slots for her wings. I asked my manu for a photo of someone else wearing it, just to see how much they'd show up. It doesn't look bad so I think we will keep the wing holes!!
Hi friends! Thank you SO so much for such a successful campaign!! I'm still in awe and genuinely blown away. Let's talk about next steps for a second!!! - Card charges are going through, if your card fails you should be able to manually retry by going to my pledges & surveys, clicking on Sugarbell Pals: Comforting plush pals Series 3 and managing it from there. - Surveys will go out within 1-2 weeks. You have 14 days to clear the initial payment, and backerkit suggests waiting to send out surveys until after we hit that mark. So I'll be working on setting them up in the meantime! - Preorder shop will open within 1-2 weeks. Please note preorder shop orders will ship seperately if you already pledged for the campaign! If you want to add on more goodies, be sure to do so via the surveys unless you're okay with receiving two packages. -I will update plushie samples as I get them. Right now we are waiting on Cotton & Candy, Lullaby, Puppermint, Snowcone and Ube to be finalized. I will share photos as soon as I receive them! If you pledged for any of these pals and you end up not being a fan of the finished piece, you can either swap to any of the other series 3 pals, or I'll be able to remove them from your pledge! ^_^ Thanks everyone!
