We are right on time for a March delivery with the books! I approved the proofs and the printer sent them out, and I'm expecting them any day!
However, the boxes got stuck behind the Chinese New Year . . . I'm hoping when manufacturing starts up again they can ship those out super fast so I can package your beautiful omnibuses in their super nice boxes!

I'm still waiting on the delivery of the prototypes. I'm certain I'll find something in the formatting I'll want to change and update before I do the print run, but that's why I'm ordering them. I still expect them to be stunning even in their imperfection, and I can't wait to show them to you!
Everyone should have received the surveys by now. If you haven't filled them out yet, I totally get it. My email box also got inundated with survey requests when the Printopia campaign ended, and I finally got them done yesterday! Get to them as quickly as you can. I'll start closing orders next week.
I know we hit the stretch goal for four color images, but when I did the formatting, I couldn't bring myself to crop this image and make it fit on one page. So it's going to be a two-page spread (hopefully!). Which means we get five pages of full color. Sweet!!
I'm super excited for these books. I did an event over the weekend and people love pretty things. Including pretty books.
Hopefully the next time I update, I'll have prototypes!
Interior formatting is done and the prototype order has been placed! From here I'll be able to flip through a physical copy of the book and make sure all the pages are legible. It's something I worry about, since the interior art is pretty impressive but full of grayscale gradients!
It should be here in another week or two. I'll show you when it arrives. Depending how that looks, I might be able to place the print run! Or I might need to make a few changes first.
I'm still working on the ebooks also. They will be ready for distribution much sooner!

This may not be the first email you've seen about a smoke test. I saw a few, and it confused me until I figured out what it was.
Here it is in a nutshell: I had to create all kinds of surveys through Backerkit for different pledge levels. It was a little bit complicated. In an effort to see what I got wrong before it goes out to everyone, Backerkit sends my surveys to a small percentage first.
You might be one of those people.
If anything appears odd with the survery, we go back to the drawing board and try again. If all goes well, the survey goes out to everyone!
So get ready and cross your fingers. I'm pushing the Smoke Test button and let's see what happens!
