This will be my fourth crowdfunding campaign with my previous campaigns being successful! This campaign will feature a variety of creatures inspired by the alien life living at the bottom of the ocean.

Uncover the extraordinary with Oddities & Obscura — a collaboration of pin campaigns featuring mythical, paranormal, and supernatural creatures of all forms. Projects will run from March 18 to April 3.
Freebie Cross-Collaboration Pins — each Oddities & Obscura creator has paired up with a fellow participant to create two unique pin designs together. If both projects reach their initial funding goal, backers who support both will get a pair of freebie cross-collab pins, one from each creator.
Oddities & Obscura Collection Freebies — pledge to six or more campaigns to get an additional freebie from each campaign you pledge to, from the Oddities & Obscura set.
Shipping will be charged AFTER the campaign is complete through BackerKit's Survey. Charges are subject to change based on quantity and location, however the following rates are to be expected:
Domestic US Shipping: $5 - $8
International Shipping: $12 - $20
Address Updates: Please ensure that addresses provided are correct and up to date. Any issues may cause delays in receiving your items. If you need to update your address, you will have time and I will send notifications when I'm locking all addresses to begin shipping. If your package is returned due to an insufficient address, I will contact you to provide updated information. You will be responsible for any re-shipping fees. If I do not hear back after 48 hours, your order will be forfeited without refund.
EU Backers: As a result of new import regulations in the form of the EU's new GSPR laws, I'm unable to ship to any EU country.. Unfortunately, because of these regulations I am also unable to provide shipping to these countries post-campaign on my Etsy shop. Any orders placed to the EU will be canceled and refunded appropriately.
International Backers: Buyers are responsible for any VAT or Custom fees associated with your purchase. If a package is returned due to insufficient payments, I will reach out directly to rectify any issues. You will be responsible for any additional re-shipping fees. If I do not hear back after 48 hours, your order will be forfeited without refund.
If you do not fill out your survey or provide sufficient payment information within a reasonable timeframe you will forfeit your reward! I cannot ship out your order until all information is valid and complete.
Timeline below is a rough estimation for the roadmap for completing the project. Subject to change based on risk factors outlined below
March 1st -> March 21th: Campaign Runs
End of April: Funds are released and Surveys sent out
Mid April: Items go into Production
July: Campaign Fulfillment
Risks
Backers are getting the highest quality of pin, also known as an A-Grade Pin. A-Grade pins are pins that have minimal/no discernable defects. If there are a high number of defective pins, I will need to contact the manufacturer for a remake to ensure that Backers get the highest quality product.
Because of differences between screens and real life lighting, there may be slight color variation from mockup to final product. I have done my best to match to Pantone's HEX specifications to ensure an accurate mockup. Any color variations would be very minor
Designs might need to be tweaked due to manufacturing limitations. Any changes whether minor or major will be addressed to backers to ensure enough time for any order changes if needed. I have created many pins and try to ensure my designs are production ready before manufacturing.
Shipping delays might adjust the timeline. Sometimes shipping from the supplier to my front door can take additional unexpected time due to customs processing.
Unfortunately Backerkit does not have any easy means for communication between backers and creators. As such PLEASE make sure to contact me at my professional email at [email protected]
Streamlining communication via my email allows me to stay organized.
Backerkit also does not provide immediate notifications to me when someone responds to a community post. I will try to check community posts frequently and response, but if you want a fast response email is the best way to contact me!
Mistakes may happen on my end, if you receive your order and are not happy with the quality of the items or there is a mistake please contact me via my email so I can sort out the problem! I would rather you let me know so I can make things right, my top priority is making sure I'm producing quality items and that you are happy with your order!
Please do not contact me on social media sites such as Instagram and Tumblr. I do not actively browse social media and DM's get hidden or flagged for me. I get lots of unsolicited messages and bots so actual concerns get buried and missed.
