Project Update: POST-CAMPAIGN UPDATE #42: Updates and Downdates
Hello Gewps.
First, I'm sorry this update took so long. It's tough to write when the news is mostly delays, but I know from backing a lot of projects that silence is worse than bad news. So here's where things are at:
SHIFTED is Better Than Ever!
When I launched the campaign, SHIFTED was essentially finished. I just needed to lock the rulebook and send everything to manufacturing. But in the back of my head, I knew a few things (especially role balance) could be better. I didn’t want SHIFTED to be something that's played once and then lost in board game shelf purgatory.
Over the last few months, I've been testin' and tweakin' a ton, and I finally landed on a version that I'm much more excited about. It's still the same SHIFTED, just tighter, cleaner, and more replayable. It probably isn't going to shake up the social deduction world like Blood on the Clocktower, but I do hope it creates its own little weird lane with the people who really vibe with it.
Delivery
As far as the timeline goes, I’m committed to delivering the physical version of SHIFTED in 2026. The PnP version should arrive well before that, once I’ve fully locked the rules.

I’m holding off on locking surveys until November 30. There's only a few of you left, so should be plenty of time to wrap them up.
International shipping: I explored a few avenues, but we’re still looking at at least $20 USD to ship abroad. Which annoyingly is more than the game. I really hope in the future I can have better localization/distribution for SHIFTED and future title.

It's Survey Time!
You’ll soon receive an email from BackerKit with a special link to your pledge manager survey. Please fill it out as quickly as you can. This info is what I need to make sure your rewards get fulfilled correctly.
