introduction and how it works

We are based in the UK -BUT we can ship worldwide!  -Please go to the 'timeline and shipping' section for full shipping info.

Welcome to "Mythological Creatures of the United Kingdom!"
I have picked out some of my favourite UK-based cryptids and folklore for this campaign, starting with the Black Shuck!
I grew up in Suffolk, which is where the myth of the Shuck stems from, so it is a myth that I heard many times and resonates with my imagination in turn!

I have tried to include a range of myths, some known worldwide (like messy) and ones perhaps really only known mostly within the UK itself, like the Stratford lion and the  Mordiford dragon.

With each set of pins, I have written a summary of the myth or information behind the pin. I've tried my hardest to keep them short, but many of them have several variations, and I suggest looking more into them if you are interested in such stories.

The Pendle witches set is based on real life events, rather than a myth or folklore. The set is to celebrate and remember the victims of the witch trials of the time! The surrounding area of Pendle is beautiful, and you can almost feel the history of the land if you ever go to visit the historic town, which embraces its witches to this day!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy these pins and the stories behind them as much as I do!

Please consider backing the campaign and get yourself some unique pins!

Pledge Now, Pay Later!
Thanks to how Backerkit works, you won't need to pay a penny until the end of the campaign, assuming the minimum goal is reached. You can upgrade or downgrade your pledge at any time before the campaign concludes.
Every pledge made helps towards unlocking the goals for more pins! The more pins we unlock, the more designs you will be able to choose from!

Choosing pins
Once the campaign is finished, you will be sent a survey where you’ll be able to choose what pins you wish to receive. There will also be the chance to add on extra pins from any of the unlocked options or the bonus β€˜add-on only’ items!
You may also order as many extra pins as you wish, even if you originally pledged less.

What's unlocked and when?!
The main goal (aka the Β£1,300) will unlock the following:
The two Black shuck pins!
The early bird pin!
The cross colab pin!
The myth and lore pin!
The returning backer magnet!
The Booksmarks!
and the pre-follower sticker!
(phew!)

Each subsequent goal goes to unlocking a new myth and two more sets of pins!
