Anyway, the books are here:

The bulk order is here, and they look amazing. I also have a little surprise freebie I whipped up over the last couple weeks: matte holo stickers of the cover symbols for Everdark and The Fractured Balance! 

Everyone with a physical order will get both stickers.

For those of you who have completed your survey, I will be locking orders on Friday, Nov 8th. So this is your last chance to change things through the system if you need to! (If something urgent comes up and you have to change your order after that, shoot me an email at [email protected] and we'll try to figure it out)

What happens when orders are locked? Your cards will be charged again for shipping + if you ordered anything extra from the pre-order store. I'll probably start shipping out next week, so keep your eyes peeled! If you ordered an ebook, you'll have access to it as soon as your order is locked.

There are a few of you who haven't completed your survey! Please do so as soon as you can, I can't give you your stuff until you do! Double check other emails, I've had a couple people who put in emails they don't check very often, so your surveys may be going somewhere unexpected. BK will keep reminding you via automated emails but I'll also reach out probably next week personally as well.

One final note: for those of you who ordered hardcovers, they'll be slightly more delayed. My printer is backed up due to the upcoming holiday season. At this point I'm expecting the hardcovers will be about two weeks behind the paperbacks. Thank you for your patience.

Wut, didn't you just hear from me? Yup! But this'll be a short one! My awesome smoke testers were so speedy that I ended up being ready to send out the full surveys already!

They will be from [email protected] under my name (N.A. Soleil, or possibly Metacosm Chronicles) and have the subject "Response Needed -- Get your reward for The Fractured Balance." (It might include the whole title, something like Metacosm Chronicles Book Two lol) This might seem like redundant information to some of you but I almost deleted my survey from the first BackerKit campaign I backed, so just in case anyone else is not used to how Backerkit works like I was back then 😅

These surveys are very important because this is how I get critical info like your address to send physical items to, and how you download your digital rewards! So don't sit on them, if possible.

Unless something goes wrong with the surveys, you probably won't hear from me again til I have the hardcover proof (which I just ordered, yay!), the oracle cards, and the metal bookmarks in my hot little hands.

Hello everybody! (ᴴᶦ ᴰᵒᶜᵗᵒʳ ᴺᶦᶜᵏ *cough* sorry)

Been a minute since you've heard from me, huh? Well don't worry, I've been working my little tail off. In case you missed it, the Pre-order store is open!

Let's talk about the most important thing: I have proofs! Look at these beauties!

This means I'm able to do the bulk orders for the paperbacks at any time! (The hardcover for TFB is lagging behind a little due to formatting setbacks, but is in the manufacturer's system and I will hopefully be able to order a proof very soon) The ebook copies are locked and loaded and will be digitally distributed through BackerKit, available at the end of your survey.

Also: we got a manufacturer picture for the Swords of Justice bookmark!

I already have plenty of the holo Everdark bookmark, and these metal ones are on their way so I'll be able to actually take photos of them myself shortly. They were added pretty late in the campaign so if you missed seeing them, your survey is the time to snag one!

The oracle cards are also on their way to me! Once I have the metal bookmarks, the oracle cards, and the hardcover, I'll be sure to do another update with pictures.

So where are we in the process?

Most things are complete on the back-end!

Shipping has been calculated and is accurate as of sending this update: if you ordered one book, your shipping will be $9.50 and two (or more!), $11.

I've just been given the green light to send out my smoke test surveys, so some of you will be getting those shortly. Once I get the responses from those, I'll send out the rest of the surveys, so keep an eye out! (I'll do another update to let you guys know when to expect those)
