Just a quick update with both exciting and important news. I'll start with the latter.
Important note:
I noticed I made a mistake how I added the early bird and returning backer rewards to your carts. You will notice it twice in your carts. But you will only receive one of each. I'm not exactly sure where I messed this up (I have a suspicion) but I can't fix it. So I just wanted to make you aware that you will only get one of each, not two.
Surveys:
74% of surveys have been completed, thank you! But I need to have at least 85% done to get more accurate numbers for my order, so if you haven't completed the survey yet, please do so ASAP. You can find it here if you lost it.
Exciting news/stretch goal:
Both the stretch goal designs are officially unlocked!
This makes me so happy as I love them both 😍🥰. We also had another design join the hoard as part of the custom pledge. The "Jack of all Classes" derpy. This brings the campaign to 16 new pins! (18 if you count the exclusive mini books) It's not too late to pledge! The pre-order store is open for anyone who missed the campaign.
Speaking of exclusive mini books, Backerkit just launched a brand new early bird reservation "pledge" for upcoming campaigns. Naturally I wanted to try it out, and since I'm already doing these exclusive little colourways for the mini bookish derpy, I thought I would create one for anyone who reserves their spot for $5 on my "D is for Derpies" campaign before it launches in September!

I come bearing great news. Funds have been received, and we are on to the next step in this epic quest. I have submitted my surveys for review by the amazing Backerkit team, and within a day or so, surveys will find their way to you. There will be a smoke test sent out to 5% today/tomorrow to make sure there aren't any traps or surprises, with the rest going out in about 2 days.
Please complete the survey as soon as possible as this tells me how many pins to order!
Important note: You won't be charged now for any add-ons you select. This will happen when I have all the pins in hand, and I lock orders for shipping. Estimated in September.
STRETCH GOALS:
Now, on to some more news. We had two designs that didn't unlock, but there is still a chance to bring them to life. The DM can be unlocked in two ways, via the achievement linked below, or as an add-on stretch goal in the pledge manager.
If enough people add them to their carts, they will join the hoard! If not, they won't be charged when I close the surveys.
New Companion added:
We had another custom pin commission for this campaign by the lovely mind of Cassirole. For this design, she requested a multi-classing derpy. So, I present to you "Jack of all Classes". He will be available as an add-on, and at a discounted rate during the survey if you want to add him to your hoard!
Can you spot all the classes? I managed to get all but monk. (Though some items are symbolic of two classes)
After reviewing all the mock-up samples from my manufacturer, I have decided to upgrade all the reds of the dragons to a dark red glitter to look more like shiny scales. And to create a cohesive look for this set. I love glitter, it adds such a lovely sparkle to the pins!
I can also finally reveal the colour variant for the collaboration sticker! Anyone who backed both Dungeon Familiars and Dungeons and Derpies, will get this exclusive colour-way sticker! And because sometimes stats are fun to look at, here are the final numbers for backers who qualified for bonus Loot!

I have two more campaigns this year. I originally planned to run Festive Derpies next week (Alas that won't happen as there is way too much going on in my life, so it's been moved to November/December) But you can still follow the campaign here
However, my biggest campaign of the year is coming in September as a part of Printopia. I've had many backers request a Derpy Dragon Art book, and this September that wish will become a reality. The Derpy Dragons are coming back this autumn for more shenanigans! It's in my first Derpy Dragon art book, which just happens to be organized alphabetically. It's the ABC's of Derpies with adulting and life advice from your favourite dragons! And while it is an art book campaign, it is also a pin campaign! All stretch goals will be new pin designs like the "Dumpster Fire" Derpy & more! You can follow "D is for Derpies" here.

As you and Ash, Conch, and Draggo enter the tavern where you first met, you are greeted by crowd cheering and clapping. Congratulations' are tossed around with boisterous laughter. An imposing figure in a purple robe and black skull adorned clothing approaches you. "Congratulations adventurer! You are the first to achieve collecting the scale from Big Red! In all our years of hosting this quest, none had returned alive save you. For that, you have earned a round of ale on the Official Weirdling Tibe Guild!" A roar of cheers echo around you as you look between the Derpies who are clapping their own excitement. "Come, join me at my table that we may discuss your loot. Yet nothing I can offer will compare to what you have already found. For you have earned the rarest of all treasures--the friendship of these little Derpies and memories to last a lifetime." You approach the table at the back of the tavern where the Guild Master makes a big display of giving you the rare golden glitter Derpy Dragon Tome to the cheers and toasts of the entire tavern. The derpies cheer and hug you. You can't help but smile as you pat their heads and hug them back, knowing the Guild Master spoke true. Loot is loot, and you are ready to divvy it up and head home for a well earned long rest....three Derpies in tow.

What's next?
Over the next two weeks Backerkit will charge your cards and I will receive funds around 14 July. In that time I will be doing a two week digital detox and unable to respond to emails/messages until July 14th as well. Upon my return, I will set up the Pledgemanager and you will have the opportunity to select your derpy designs that you want to adopt as well as add any extra now that the mad rush of trying to complete the three campaign Pinquest has ended!
Pledgemanager/Surveys will be open for 2 weeks before I order the pins around July 20th.
To guarantee you get what you want, please complete the survey as soon as I send it. This is how I know how many to order. And while I try to order extras I can't guarantee late surveys will get their chosen designs. (Estimated Survey date 3rd week of July) If all goes well, I place the order for my pins by the last week of July, which means they will arrive sometime in September when I will start fulfilling the pledges. Shipping will be charged early September or as soon as I receive the pins.

The Derpy Master poll concluded and in the end the grumpy DM won out. I was able to scrape some time together today to finish both the Cleric and Derpy Master pins so you can see how they look. ☺️
I think these two make the Dungeon Derpy collection complete. And I am so happy how they turned out. Now for the final scene in the adventure:
The quest draws to an end...
After a fierce battle (which consisted of mostly run and dodge actions) you and the 3 derpies escape the cave with the chunky red dragon. But fear not, Conch brought some Band-Aids to the dungeon (to your surprise) and volunteers to patch up everyone's booboos. He even had some dragon sized Band-Aids!
With everyone's wounds dealt with you set out to what you hope is the end of the dungeon.
At last you come upon a large cave entrance. You manage to convince the Derpies to sneak... Well, you thought you did.
In his excitement when he saw all the gold, little Conch ran ahead of the party. Finding none other than Big Red. Luckily what the Derpies lack in battle prowess and skill, they more than make up for in charisma.
Conch pulls out one of the slime covered bones he stuffed in his pocket and offered it to Big Red in exchange for a single scale.
Whether confusion or charm won the day, you don't know. But Big Red gave the toothiest smile you've ever seen and agreed to the trade. All three Derpies clapped their hands and did a little happy dance. All you can do is gape as Big Red hands a single scale to them and tell you where the exit is.
Grateful to leave with your life intact you look down at your four new friends.
Maybe these guys aren't so bad, you think to yourself as you make your way to the tavern for the reward offered by the "Official Weirdling Tribe Guild"...
