I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who backed this campaign. It was my  first pin focused campaign, and I loved each moment. From concept to now packing the last boxes. My heart is filled with so much gratitude for all of you. You inspired me to run more pin campaigns, from the recently finished Derpy Dragons, to my upcoming Haunted Dragons which launches in October.

I never dreamt my fascination with drawing dragons would ever yield a way to earn an income. And it's all thanks to your support it is a possibility.

I come bearing exciting news! All the hardcovers arrived today 🥰.
That means that at long last the final pledges will get mailed out over the next week after I signed and numbered them ☺️.

It turned out so beautiful! And because of the delay in getting it to you, I upgraded the book to have a ribbon so you can save your favourite dragon. 

This will conclude this campaign once everything has been shipped. I will attempt one final time to charge failed cards. 
If you haven't yet received your stuff, check your cards as there's still 3 pledges that won't go through. 
For those who updated the cards that went through, I'll ship your items to you when I mail these books. 
Any failed cards after I ship these will risk forfeiting their pledges as I can't ship your items without you paying the shipping and I cannot hold stock indefinitely.

At long last the gold foil proof for the Gilded Dragons art book arrived! And it's just as shiny as I imagined 😍🥰

To say I love how it turned out is an understatement!

And I am so happy that I waited to finish the extra art & behind the scenes pages. It really brings this book to life and makes it that much better! 

I have ordered all the artbooks now, and they should arrive early September. (The proof took a month to get to me). Once I receive them, I'll sign & number them and mail everything by mid September.

There's never a dull moment in my life, especially when it comes to creating more art & books.

Backerkit is hosting a book themed topia, and I am releasing a deluxe edition of my book 2 novel, Star Awakened.

This book has been 2 years in the making, and I'm finally ready to release it into the world.
But before I talk about the book, I wanted to highlight a tier I made specifically for my shiny-pin-loving fans.

Introducing my biggest pin design yet!

Much of my series takes place on board a sailing ship, 'The Black Maiden'. And to honour that, I designed this glow in the dark glitter pin.
But, as you know with Pintopia, we were matched with a partner for FREE collaborative rewards.
As I was already doing art for another author, it made sense that I create a pin set for us both, since we both have fantasy as the main genres.
Presenting, the collaborative pins! Made to fit together as a single set. And free when you back both our campaigns (or available as an add-on)

Personally I think this set is one of my favourite designs ever.

As much as I am thrilled about these pins, however, I am beside myself with excitement for the deluxe edition hardcovers and book boxes. This campaign will be my first ever print run, because I wanted all the bells and whistles.
Sprayed edges, illustrated endpapers, gold foil naked cover, ribbons and more.

Right on the heels of the Booktopia campaign comes the third pin campaign of Gilded Dragons - Haunted edition.

This pin campaign brings back many of the same creators as Pintopia! While details are still getting finalized, there will also be a FREE collaboration pin! 

This campaign will be a mixture of haunted derpy dragons and dragons with skulls. Plus a limited edition 3D dragon lantern pin featuring stained glass.

These will be my last two campaigns this year, but I'm already looking ahead at 2025. With more pins, art books, possibly a novel & more. Including a collaboration with my son, who will run a pin campaign in the winter!

I hope you are having a wonderful summer (or winter if you are down under). I'm having a great summer so far and things are flowing along. Thank you to everyone who has tagged me in their social media with the pins you received!

I have shipped the second batch of packages a couple of days ago!
So anyone who corrected payments by last Friday and those with art prints should receive their packages soon! Only the backers with hardcovers and last few failed payments haven't shipped yet.

I am just waiting for the art book proof to arrive, then I will place the order for the hardcovers and charge those backers. I expect it in about 2 weeks or so, and will probably charge cards early to mid August.

The books will take about 3-4 weeks to get back to me. So if all goes well, I expect to charge cards around the end of August with shipping early September after I signed and numbered them. 

It has been brought to my attention that I might have forgotten to mention that I had made an error in many of your carts. When I added early bird items to carts, it erroneously added the returning backer card SKU as well. But I couldn't remove it. I manually had to add it to the appropriate carts, but this meant that an extra postcard still showed in most of your carts.

As I was aware of this I only added the appropriate cards to the returning backers. So if you were one of the early birds who erroneously had it in your cart, I apologize for the confusion.

Which brings me to an important note about actual missing items.
Please email me at [email protected] if there is anything wrong with your pledge or if it arrived damaged (with pictures of packaging etc). Do not comment here. I can't guarantee I'll see it.
I am only human, and as such I might have misread or grabbed the wrong pin. And while I made every effort to triple check everything, mistakes are possible.

There are still a few errored cards. I can't ship your items until this is fixed. I will re-attempt to charge cards when I process hardcover artbook tiers in August. But any failed cards after this time will forfeit their pledge. So please, double check your cards! I cannot hold items indefinitely and after October 31, I will add items back into general stock to sell. I can't guarantee I will still have it after that time! After this time your pledge will be considered a donation. 

Many of you already supported my derpy dragon campaign, thank you. The campaign has far exceeded my expectations  and we are in the homestretch. We're so close to unlocking not only the last 2 designs but also a FREE pin for all backers.

All backers will get an exclusive limited edition FREE sticker and returning backers also get an exclusive returning backer postcard!

Greetings Hoarders,

I come bearing excellent news. Pins are arriving at their forever homes! 
And the artbook is nearing completion! Only 1 more illustration to do. 
Here's two new ones I finished today. 😊

I have also formatted the layout and most pages for the artbook. All that remains is the final illustration, pictures of my tools and the final formatting so I can send it to my printer. 
Here are some photos of the layouts so far. 

I was able to recover most of the steps by step files, except the two I illustrated during this campaign. Which is why I'm doing the 3 new illustrations.
But as you can see there's a lot of content!
In fact, I believe the art book is now at 60 pages!
I can't wait to order the proof and share it with you guys!

In other news, the art prints have finally shipped to me. There was a slight delay as my printer just moved warehouses and things were delayed by a week. But they should arrive within the next week or so then those pledges will get mailed out.
