Hello, everyone! Good News! I haven't given up yet. I will be relaunching this project, hopefully on May 31st. I'm trying to build followers before launch. Please share this with your friends and family, and hopefully, we will succeed together in creating these cuties!
There are 34 hours left to pledge to Lil'Stinkers: Bloom Into Spring. We are so far from seeing this project funded. Unfortunately, it looks like it will not make our funding goal. (I do have a small bit of hope left.) This, however, will not deter me from trying to release Blossom and Ferguson again.
I have learned a lot from this project. First and foremost, pictures and dimensions are key to a project like this, especially in advance. This is my first time making a plushie project and using BackerKit, so my followers are few and far between, which may have contributed to the low pledge count, and let's just mention manufacturers like to take their sweet time...
Anyways, thank you all for your continued support in this project. You will not be charged if the project does not meet its funding goals, so don't worry about canceling your pledges.
A special thank you to those who have supported this project from the beginning, it means the world to me as a small business owner. (I guess I can't call it that yet, but I have to try!) -determined face-
Hello, Sorry for the delay in writing an update. I have some photos of the Backpacks, and I will write about each one and what will be changed.
Blossom The Opossum Changes needed: -Dimensions 16 inches height and 12 inches width. 1. Additional details on Blossoms ears. 2. The baby opossums will need redone as I'm not pleased with their facial structure. The fur will be matched to the mommas. All accessories are removable they are so cute!
Ferguson The Ferret Changes needed: -Dimensions 16 inches height and 12 inches width. (Ferguson is a giant. The idea was to fit the largest I pad but that has to be adjusted on both bags.) 1. I will change the fur to the same as Blossoms design. His tail will be a furry fabric. 2. His facial features need to be adjusted. 3, Strap and hardware upgrade.
I hope this helps everyone and what I expect from my manufactures. I want perfection as close to possible for everyone. I will be writing detailed changed to them today and I hope to update you by the end of next week.
Please share this project to your friends and family so we can hopefully get these cuties manufactured. No matter if we don't make the initial goal I will try again. <3
I talked to one of the manufacturers who made the ferret shopping bag. (I have two manufacturers making samples to see which is better.) These are the dimensions she provided. The length of the entire bag, from the top to the feet of the doll, is 60 cm (23 inches). The corresponding length and width dimensions are designed to accommodate an area of 30x22 cm(11.8x8.6 inches), which is to fit the largest iPad size.
I hope this helps anyone asking for the dimensions of the bag. I will have the manufacturer's photos on Thursday/ Friday morning of both bag designs.
Thank you for your patience with the sample photos.
As promised, I have made a short video showcasing the ferret shopping bag. Please keep in mind this is a prototype, and additional changes will need to be made, including the eye color and possibly some changes to the bag itself, adding trim, etc. The backpack images will be available soon, and with the measurements. Please trust me if you're afraid to pledge, if you are worried about the quality. I will make sure you only recieve the best products. <3
