Gem Dragonsis a collection of five mighty enamel pins inspired by the titular gem dragons of Dungeons & Dragons mythos! As the sequel campaign of the successful Chromatic Dragons pin collection, each of these reclusive dragons represent a different gemstone: the mighty amethyst dragon cracks the earth with its sheer strength, while reclusive emerald dragons dazzle trespassers with their shimmering hide.
The initial campaign goal will fund all five of the gem dragons pins, with stretch goals past that unlocking additional rewards featuring lesser-known, or other notable dragon species of the forgotten realms.
Backers who pledged to our Chromatic Dragons campaign qualify for a free "SLAY THE DRAGON" Sticker included with their pledge! It should automatically add itself to your pledge as a freebie if you qualify.
If you weren't part of the first campaign, or just want a few more stickers, don't sweat! The sticker will be available as a paid add-on for the duration of the entire Gem Dragons campaign.
PICTURED DESIGN IS A MOCKUP. This sketch will be replaced with a finalized image once complete. Finished sticker will measure 3"x3", contour-cut and printed onto gold holographic foil.
Your journey begins by knowing your foes! All five of these designs are unlocked from the get-go, covered by the campaign's $750 goal. Each 40mm (~1.5") hard enamel pin features a different gem dragon design, supported by two butterfly clutches on the back.
As your adventure treks on, you may encounter new combatants (or new allies, if you play your cards right)! These pins will become available to back as the campaign reaches the listed milestones - with your pledge, more and more options are unlocked!
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING MOCKUPS ARE SKETCHES. The final pin designs will have clean linework and dragon-accurate colors similar to the core five gem dragons pictured above. These images will be replaced with the final artwork as it is finished!
Shipping will be calculated and collected after the campaign when you fill out your survey form, based on your location!
Shipping will be done as a flat rate via USPS, and will include tracking. Please refer to the numbers below as ESTIMATES, and note these numbers are subject to change at any time:

For International Backers: VAT tax is not collected by the survey, so you are responsible for paying your country's import tax, if any. Tariff costs will be mitigated where possible: I do not expect them to play a factor in the projected fall shipping period, but should any additional shipping costs be necessary, all backers will be informed in future campaign updates.
The timeline estimate is as follows:
OCTOBER 16, 2025: Campaign launch!
NOVEMBER 18th, 2025: Campaign ends, surveys begin rolling out
DECEMBER 2nd, 2025: Surveys close, completed surveys are charged for add-ons and shipping
DECEMBER 2025: Pins go into production
FEBRUARY 2026: Pins received and graded for quality
MARCH 2026: Rewards are delivered to backers

I've been working as a freelance illustrator since 2013, a convention artist since 2017, and launched Toadstown as my digital merchandise storefront mid-2024.
This is my second crowdfunding campaign, following the success of the Chromatic Dragons pin collection! Gem Dragons is intended to be the sequel "sister" campaign, fulfilling requested designs that didn't quite fit into the first campaign's lineup.
As a long-time TTRPG player, i'm excited to bring some love to some of the less-loved beasties of the forgotten realms!

BackerKit operates on a "Pledge now, pay later" system. This means you will not be charged until the campaign concludes, AND it's reached its $750 goal. After the campaign ends, backers will receive a survey where they will be able to provide their shipping address, preferences if they've chosen any customizable backing tiers (IE: pick three pins), and even any add-ons they'd like to throw on to their pledge last minute!
This means you're allowed to change your pledge amount and rewards at any time before the campaign ends. If you need to withdraw from the campaign for any reason, do so then! Once the project concludes, we will be unable to provide refunds as all funds raised will be going right into production costs.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping is not included with your pledge and will be collected once you fill out your BackerKit survey, based on your location.
